*HE....he touched me again?!!* she thought, rising from her sitting position to strike out at him, when she noticed her front paws were filthy, she wavered between two urges, one to attack the male for touching her, and one to clean.... Cleaning won over in the end, since he WAS sick after all. She smugly watched as he swallowed the roots "they shouldn't be that hard to take down Demon, i DID pre-chew them for you" she mocked in between licks as she groomed the dirt from her paws.

Arcane shuttered. "ugn please don't remind me they where in your mouth first or I'l really be sick." He sighed and flopped over noticing she was cleaning her self. He smiled lightly. "mmm well well looks like someone got dirt."

Layla shrugged "They're easy to chew and swallow aren't they" she grumped "i would say that you're being like a pup, but pups would eat it" she said matter of factly. She decided to pretend he hadn't mentioned the dirt, and ignored that comment from him, continuing to groom instead.

Arcane blinked noticing she had a bit on he back and pawed it off knowing she'd get mad he then said. "you missed a spot." bracing him self for a hit.

Layla hissed and beared her teeth, but she didnt attack, she was too busy getting the dirt off her paws to feel like hitting out at Arcane again *damn i'm getting soft on this demon* she thought, swearing at herself for NOT lashing out.

Arcane flinched and recoiled when she hissed and snarled at him. He peeked open one eye and blinked. He smiled and slipped over to her and curled up around her, he was a few inches from her so he wouldn't touch her and simply lay there panting. He was still feverish and really only wanted to be close to someone.

Layla stiffened when Arcane curled around her, she gritted her teeth and sat like a statue, stopping groming for a second, but.... he wasn't actually touching her, so she tolerated the fact he was there, ahd sighed *why the hell do i care if he's sick or not?* she thought to herself, not moving an inch.

Finally Arcane was sound asleep beside her, he's breath slowly started to even out and he cuddled closer finally curling up fully around her still dead asleep.

Layla stiffened as she felt Arcane snuggle into her, her lip curled ans she again cuffed at Arcane's face, though, she kept her claws back this time, but it was hard enough, "YOU NEVER LEARN" she yelled into his ear, then grabbing his horn she dragged him a little ways, "stay there" she said, and walked off, she intended to come back, and check up on him, but she wouldn't let him know that.
