does anyone else have a graphics minishop out there? XD i'm just curious... my shop is really new and i just asked someone to price my banner on another forum and they said 250g!!!!!! isn't that excessively cheap?! is it really that ugly? the girl asked for hazy border, suicide in red text, splotches, main colors being purple and black, and a hazy border... well i guess design's not my strong point i'm more of an editor.. i know it's not the best eyecandy in the world, but it's not bad either! does anyone else think that graphic designers are underpaid, especially comapred to drawn art work??? everyone prices drawings at like 10k-25k!!! vs my measily 250 gold -.-;;; and the thing is the drawings aren't that great... <.<;; i don't mean to be like.. really rude.. but you know what i'm saying, right? DISCLAIMER: splotches were created using miss m's brush -.- some girl accused me of plagerism one time... bleh *has to put disclaimer for everything to avoid it happening again*

250's uber cheap, since doing banners way easier than drawing n coloring... Drawing, ink or pentool, coloring took hours to finish n banner can took even less than 5mins(!?)... well I dun really know about that :, my drawing shop was only 1500 fro the full n ordinary char : 1k for the SD... well 3 months b4 that was only 1000 for fulll n750 for SD... people did say it was too sheap lol http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7279030&page=1it's closed since 6 months ago yet people still keep pming me -.-|||... here's those art I made money from :3 http://www.sitesled.com/members/yuikami/w_gaia.html

yeah that's true... but i'm better off making gold playing the casino if all i'm getting is 250 gold scream
making banners still needs creativity though... and it's prettier then hand drawn artwork sometimes

Prices kind of depend on demand and how long it takes you to make it, since for the most part, the fee is compensation for the time spent making the art.
If something takes you less than 5 mintes to make, it should be priced as if it took you that long.
The expensive art I've seen on the shops is usually really good and very time consuming. I've seen it priced upwards of 200k for a single piece, and it's worth what they ask, if not more. The quality is so good, the demand is so high, and that makes their time very expensive. 3nodding

jaded1004 making banners still needs creativity though... and it's prettier then hand drawn artwork sometimes first of all; makin banner, all you hav to do is cut paste, set up color, set up text, layout property, texture if necesary... most of the stuffs r convinion... like those brushes, sometime the people that doesn't even have skill, just click click and combine some brushes together n boom, they already got some masterpiece... drawing need skills, so I think that's one of the reason y the price's so high too :

It takes them more time and effort= more for their pieces. I actually hope to combine photoart and traditional drawing to make some real pretty stuff, and cute little things, like picture frames, fairy dust, and so on. I hope to get to the level of the 200K guys, but me being a nice guy/crap businessdude, I'll probably still charge 20K for it...
