I like a few country songs like Dixie Chicks Goodbye Earl, Toby Keith's How Do You Like Me Now?, and that one song called Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off... wait is that even a country song?

I like maybe one or two songs but the rest I can't stand because it was so foreced when I was little. So now I listen to a lot of alternative and some metal. I hate "bubblegum-pop" though. And anything by some of the biggest new stars like Justin beiber and Lady Gaga, etc. Hate them.

I'm a metalhead, but my gf is a country buff so I get to listen to some of that. You look in the music shops and new country is in with pop/rock, especially artists like Taylor Swift, Shania Twain and Keith Urban. So is "new country" really country. However other artists such as Brad Paisley, Toby Keith and Johnny Cash are in the country section. But one song that I do like is Johnny Cash - Hurt.
