ok, so i've seen pics of a woman with blue hair (and no, it's not Nefeltari Vivi) and she apparently must be the next member of the Straw Hats, btu who is she? if you want another pic, look at my signature.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure that even though Vivi's not with them, she is an honorary member of the Straw Hats. As in: she is one of their nakama who can't be because she has a country to run with her dad.

I agree with wariodude. Also way back in like episode 5 or something luffy even said that he'd probably get 9 members and that'd be enough. Plus if you look back at the earliest episodes you can see signs of foreshadowing, and the 9 members thing was one of them.

thats true, but if you read in the manga, in the beginning Luffy said he was going to try for 10 members, not 9
