Ciro began to feel bad after backing away from his offer of friendship so fast. Maybe he really did want to just be a friend and wasn't going to try and push it with her. She glances back up at him and tried to smile a bit. "I....I g-guess we could be friends...I don't have any." Her smile instantly faded again when he began to push the issue of her family. It was about time she tried to open back up to the world, but not trust another stallion to get too close to her with the promise of love.

"They are grown...maybe they'll come home, but I don't know anymore. ...they're fa-father..left me. Gone. Done. Broke my heart..." She murmured, scuffing a hoof in the dirt in front of her. After a moment of silence, she turned her head toward him again. Zheadeos. What a strange name. Though...no stranger than the ones her children had. "I'm Ciro."

Zheadeos was pleased at her second thoughts about being friends. Rather more happy to have not sent her running but when she frowned at his discussion about her family he felt saddened by his bluntness. Though her first remarks were understandable grown children could wander, he was sure of this meeting many others where he wandered. They had parents somewhere fore that was the only way they could be here... or rather there for him to meet.

Zheadeos had not expected what came after her comment about her children. Upon hearing how the father had left his eyes widened, Gone. Done. Broke her heart... It was... wrong. That's all Zheadeos could call it. The fathers place was there with her. Not understanding how a stallion could leave the mother of his children Zhea wasn't quite comprehending the situation though he did not have a warm and fuzzy feeling. Broke her heart... A sigh escaped him as he thought over that part of her comment, a friend could heal that right... he wasn't sure but he was sure he would try his best to help. Maybe he could possibly help her find her other children if after awhile they never returned to her. The thought was not outrageous in his thoughts and it could help her heal, it made sense to him but he wasn't sure it would help. "Well Ciro it is a pleasure to meet you."

Zheadeos frowned softly slightly worried that if he returned home his father would be gone. A thought he quickly quieted reminding himself that his father had said they'd be there when he came home. "I'm sorry for your loss." He looked down at the ground where his hoof earlier had carved at the ground. "I'm sure they shall return home... your kids that is." He lifted his head and smiled faintly before tossing his head to look about the plains. "The plains in a lovely place to live, wonderful place to grow up as well." He nodded and glanced over at Ciro, he wouldn't go into offering to help her search for her children, least not yet. "That's why I was sure I'd come back, that and my parents live here... somewhere..."

She lowered her head again and stared at the dirt she mussed up with her hoof in silence for a long time. She was sure her words shocked him into silence completely. It even did the same to her and her own father, of whom she was thankful was still around to help. "Pleasure to meet you too..." she murmured softly, scuffing at the dirt pile again.

"I'd love to see them again...so maybe they'd want to see me again too." She smiled slightly, looking back up at him. She was glad to hear his family lived in the plains as well and that he was at least still around and possibly returning home to see them after this. "I've never seen others like you...but...this is a big area after all."

It heartened Zheadeos that she'd returned the pleasantry of meeting him. It had been quiet but he was sure it was sincere at least some what. Though never had Zhea wished he'd been born a mare as his sister had. She's likely warm up to a new friend that was a mare sooner then a stallion. The idea that her mate just left her was hard to understand, more on how he himself could do it. "I don't know why any child wouldn't want to see their mother. "

Zhea however was slightly confused by her comment about others like him though. He knew he was different. Sadly smaller then both his brother and father taking on his mother size but he'd seen smaller stallions. Maybe she'd meant along the lines of other families but he was sure she hadn't meant that. Then it hit him as it always seem to do. "Do you mean like with my antlers and cloven hooves?" He often forgot about that difference between him and others. His antlers had grown with him as he grew and while they did weigh upon his head they were a natural weight so he rarely thought of them. Oh and his tail that was another difference he'd taken after his mother in everything but his coloring. He looked like his father save for the light brown that ran through his mane.

Ciro shook her head, turning her gaze to look out across the meadows around them. "I don't know why a child would not come looking for it's family either...but I suppose if they're happy. I know my brother's must be, since I haven't seen them in a long time.." she murmured. After a moment of silence, Ciro looked back at him.

"Ah yes, I'm sorry...I didn't mean any offense with my comment about others like you of course. Just...yes...hooves, antlers, a tail like that...it's unusual where I come from. I've really only seen others like myself with wings, or without wings and looking like they live very bland lives." She stated, moving closer to inspect his antlers close up.

Zheadeos frowned and sighed softly. He realized how long he'd been gone from home. He was happy traveling it was true, which was why he'd not been home yet, but that had been the plan where he'd made a detour. He was sure he hadn't been the only sibling to leave. Windy with her curiosity larger then his had likely pulled her out soon after he'd left. He still had yet another journey to make. He'd yet to see the Ocean with the big fish. Fish much larger then him, least as a foal. "Hopefully they are happy. It is a nice thing to think seeing as they are seeking the comfort of home. I still think checking in to visit is something they should do." He shrugged softly before smiling softly.

He was slightly amused by her apologies to not meaning offense, and a little bit bad that she thought she'd offended him. "Oh please, don't fret. I was in no way offend."[/b[ He smiled pleasantly. "I don't often think about how I am different. As proof by forgetting the difference in our tails." He chuckled thinking back on his brother's long flowing tail and regular hooves. He'd found them natural. He lowered his head so she could better inspect his antlers. "I've heard they are soft, kind of fuzzy like, though solid and strong. I don't much notice the weight of them. You can touch them if you like. It won't hurt. Promise."

Ciro nodded quietly, thinking once more about her children out in the world. "I do hope to see them...." She sighed a bit and returned her attention to his antlers. "How can one not notice the weight of something on their head though? That just...doesn't seem right. I notice my wings, so it just seems natural that another would notice the added appendages." Ciro told him, gently pushing her nose against the velvet covered horns.

"And they are soft...they remind me of my children when they were still very young....." A small smile graced her as she stepped back again.

Zheadeos was perplexed by her children. So long without coming home. Surely they wondered about their mother."Maybe you could go on a journey to find them?" The thought was out before he could stop it. He didn't find it to be so hard but he was also a stallion who knew the forest.

What she said made sense about extra appendages, though he didn't really ever notice a difference in the weight upon his head. "I'm unsure, I'm only aware of them when they've been caught up in something, though it doesn't typically happen very often. I believe I'm subconsciously aware that they're there. However while There is a pressure upon my head where they rest I've grown so accustomed to it I don't really pay much mind to it. They don't have feeling in them and I cannot control them so I believe that is why I don't regularly notice them." He shrugged at it all. He was likely an oddball though he wasn't sure. "I'm curious as to how they are soft but I've heard that they change. This spring the softness with thin and they will become stronger. That they grow in that way."
