Last night on Glee they actually made fun of Twilight fan-girls and Kristin Stewart pretty epicly.
Pricipal Figgins tried to ban "goth" clothes because he associated them with vampires (specifically Twilight) and "demons". Cut to a flashback of a group of fat emo chicks wearing fake fangs, Team Edward t-shirts, and dark red lipstick.
Twitard #1: "This will FINALLY get Robert Pattinson's attention!" *attacks a defenseless geek*
Tina, the goth chick on the show, was offended for obvious reasons. She's not part of that group at all.
Tina: "But I've never even SEEN Twilight! My mom thinks Kristin Stewart is a b***h!"
For once someone speaks the truth about Twitards! I lol'd so hard!

Well, Twitard stereotypes. Stereotyping has left me in despair! crying And Glee doing something I would find mildly interesting it so improbably that I'm in despair!

That's pretty funny. Fat emo chicks with low self esteems and no lover of their own was the exact idea of a Twitard to me. (I'm like that with the exception that I hate Twilight and my boyfriend is a lot better than Edward could be if he was real.)
That being said, this still doesn't redeem Glee in my eyes. Sorry.

Any boy could be better with Edward as long as they're real and/or not on a sex offender's housing list.

Yes! I loved Glee before, but that episode was a total win (not just because of the Twilight reference). I'm glad someone is finally speaking up against that craptastic book. I just loved what Tina said about Kristin Stewart. Her mother is smart.
I wonder how Twitards reacted to it?

"Asian vampires are the worst!" lol "My father is the leader of the asain vampires and he will bite you unless you let me express myself! Now I must go, the sun is burning my eyes!" *dramatic exit* rofl I've been a Gleek sine they first airied the Pilot and that diss made me love the show even more!

I was doing rallying cries at the TV when the principal was trying to ban goth clothes and vampires. Self-expression be damned, coach! Figgins was right!

The fact that Glee spoke out against Twilight while every other show supports it is just another reason why this show is awesome. It's not afraid to do something different. We shall never conform! NEVER!

Glee is made of fail.
But this certain part seems like win...
Although I agree, it does not redeem the series at all... I always thought of Twilight and Glee as being in the same boat of stupidity. Seems kind of hypocritical that they're making fun of it; one of my sister's Twitard friends is a major Glee fan.
