Kyrenx Venusaur's weakness to EQ is devastating and the same can be said about Torterra's x4 weakness against Ice, especially since both aren't very fast and thier bulk (on most cases) don't compensate for this. Of course, Venusaur now can get Power Whip as an egg move in HG/SS which is interesting on it's own (no more Leaf Storm sets for me).
On the upside, a few Grass-types I've had some success with are: Sceptile, Breloom, Jumpluff, Ludicolo, Shiftry, Tangrowth and Tropius. Of course, most of those have gimmicky movesets but you can't argue with results when executed properly. you also forgot Torterra's x4 weakness against flying

Despite Ground-type moves not being able to hit Flying-types, the Ground-type itself isn't weak against Flying.
