I was watching an episode of Galaxy Express 999 and they mentioned Nessie, so I went to Wiki to look up other creatures of the deep. During my ramblings over the WikiWeb, I found the Sauropods, which many scientists believe are most of the so-called elusive lake monsters from around the world.

I believe that if they existed in lakes around our time in the present, we would have found some sort of evidence of them already. Then again, I haven't a clue as to how much we've ignored the lakes where Nessie is rumored to exist. If there have been scientific teams that've tried to track down Nessie and they haven't found anything yet, then I'm thinking Nessie doesn't exist.

Sauropods are neat. :3

I think until very, very recently it was mostly Joe Blow and Hollywood doing the "research." Maybe now that the REAL scientists have stepped up to the plate we can get some definitive results.
