Omutia was shocked to say the least at the array of mares in front of her. One was eerie, not that it bothered her, another like the night sky, and finally one with an odd blanket on it. Upon following the bells she'd come across a trio of odd sorts. Squirrel Squirrel held his tail high as he moved to best see the other mares as well, his tail twitching though be it excitement or agitation was unknown. He lightly scrapped at Omutia's Saddle though she was beyond fretting over damage for he'd already tried to wear the leather down to make it softer but was failing.
The Night sky mare had been startled by her which made her feel slightly amused, it wasn't often she was quiet enough to startle others, but then a question emerged from the mare and Omutia snorted. "No I've left from those creatures. Naught but a lot of mean and hurtful race." Her tone carrying a good riddance tone to it. No love loss between the moody mare and her most always mean handlers.
Then an additional new comer came to join the little group that had began to gather. A dark stallion with a black and red unicorn horn. She cocked her head to the side at his bright and cheerful mood. Quite open and friendly so she'd answer, for what could it hurt. "I am merely out for a stroll, Trapezeing across the land to see what all there is at my own leisurely pace." She tosses her head in the direction f the other mares. "And I came across them."

((I sincerely apologize to everyone for the lateness of my response. I promise it will not happen again))
Xanti’s lips were still pulled back when the creature – no – the purewalker shifted midflight to land in front of him. Instinctually he retreated back a few steps, wanting to create as much distance as possible between him and it. She, for her true form revealed her gender, was a magnificent creature with white feathers and a black coat. And paws. Large paws that left furrows in dirt. Yes, a magnificent creature indeed. She clicked in a very birdlike manner and when she spoke her words were tinged with growls. "Fancy a hunt?”
A hunt? Xanti found it hard to focus on her words. His fight or flight instincts were calling out at him to attack this large, threatening creature or run as far away from her as possible. Xan knew he was outmatched with this one. If she decided to attack, he would be dead first, no question. He would put up good fight but he would definitely be the one to fall. So he was a bit shocked that she wasn’t declaring her intention to eat him… instead declaring her intention to eat something else?
Slightly confused, Xan cocked his head to the side and listened. Ears swiveling, he picked up the faint sound voices in the distance. Ahhh…prey. He glanced back at the walker. With her help they would definitely be able to make a kill; the question was whether she’d share it with him when it was dead. The maniacal look on her face was deceiving. She looked more interested in the hunt then the idea of fresh meat, but Xan knew that once she got going he probably would have to rip and tear to get any part of the kill himself. And it wasn’t too hard to envision her attacking him by accident.
“Sure, that would be lovely” A feral grin stretched across his face to match hers, revealing his long canines. He’d go along with her for now, but if she turned on him, he’d let those fight or flight instincts have their way. “Lead the way, pretty lady.” Yes, he didn’t want her anywhere behind him. Ever. He wasn’t as trusting as that.

Kimi licked her lips, a smirk peeled upon her face as she to caught the sound of laughter, bells and hooves not too far away. In her horse form her sences where completely different and it often took a few moments for her to adjust and focus. Not that she would ever show the effects of the change to anyone, to do so was to welcome danger and weakness and Kimi would NEVER allow such a despicable thing to happen.
No, she was the hunter, not the hunted. That would never change in her eyes.
She clucked her tongue in her mouth "Then follow my lead." As far as Kimi was concern the leader and the strongest person always lead, and only those of weakness and fear brought up the rear, it was for this reason that she was honoured to go first -she feared not the idea of being stabbed in the back. If he was planning to try something, he would soon learn that Kimi was a predator for good reason, and it was only due to her mercy that he was still standing!

As the first two mares agreed to join her for her party Chandra felt her spirit soar, she loved the idea of having lots of people around her. Not the actual celebrating of her birth but the togetherness and friendliness of friends and strangers drawn together into a group. Sharing. Her father had always told her how sharing could make the world a better place. "Thank you," She said before turning her attention back to the one who had been chasing a squirral. "Oh," Was all she said to begin with on the topic of the two-leggers. Chandra had never really spent time with any of their kind, warned to keep her distance from a young age. Yet still she found herself curious about them. "Mean and hurtful..." She repeated, the words echoed those of her father and it stunned Chandra for a moment. Yet as the other mare swiftly switched the topic to her stroll Chandra remembered her reason for being out this day, with a smile on her face she asked, "Would you like to come to my birthday party? Unless you are busy?"
Usually Chandra would have waited for a reply but the introduction of a new voice -male this time- had her turning in the direction of it away from the mares that now surrounded her. "Hello...." she chirped before glancing at the other mares for a moment and then back at the male with a 13 written upon his side, she wondered what it meant. "....today is my birthday. I was just looking for people who wanted to join me for a party... would you like to come?"

Blake and thesh posting format.
For awoke both Blake and thesh just looked at the others looking at them. Thesh kind of hid herself a little behind Blake who was obviously the pairs face man. However eventually the converstaion of humans poped up and even thesh felt the need to introject.
"humans? Mean hurtful?" thesh said looking at Blake, who looked back at her as if on que. Needless to say they were both quite they were both quite puzzled by this statement. Poet the human whom they shared a teepee with was never anything other than a giant Ray of sunshine to put it lightly . . . A total hippie but a Ray of sunshine none the less. Always climbing up trees to get them apples and collecting oats for winter time treats. Not to mention letting them roam about like a cuple gypsys.
Blake looked back to the others quizically
"not all of them are like that our two legger is awsome!." she retorted with a large grin and a nod.
"for once we actaully agree." thesh added with a shrug that made the meatal on her battle vestments grind against one another.

(Holy crap, I'm so sorry!)
Canon frowned. So this black and gold coloured mare had not come across his friend either. Where was he? "Thank you for letting me know. We were supposed to meet up outside of the forest but he never showed. Which isn't like him." Did that honestly sound as worried as it did in his head? He shook his head. He probably was fretting over nothing.
He looked around the forest briefly before turning back towards the black and gold mare. "Do you come here often?" He asked. If she knew there parts well, perhaps she could assist him? Afterall it had been a year for him. Though, asking for help was not something he usually did. He was often downright stubborn in preferring to do things on his own even if it was obvious he needed help. But he might just have to ask.

He smiled at the palomino mare. "A stroll sounds like a lot of fun. A friend and I were supposed to hang out today but when I went to where we were supposed to meet up, he was gone. I was a bit late though." His light gray eyes shifted guiltily. "But! I searched around and it looks like he's in the forest somewhere. So, I'm hoping to find him." Lex nodded enthusiastically. And hopefully he wouldn't encounter Iva, he shuddered at the thought.
Lex turned to look at the green and goldish mare and the one with the skull mask, they seemed to be quite absorbed in their conversation, before looking at the star like mare. He blinked rapidly in response to her words. "It's your birthday today?!? Happy birthday!" He grinned at her.
She was looking for horses to go to her party? Lex so wanted to go. Canon needed to be here. Gosh why had Lex had to be late? Of all the days to not be on time! A party would be a ton of fun. True, he just met this mare but Lex could not let her celebrate her party on her own. That would be cruel, no one should be alone on their birthday.
"I would love to come to your party. I'm sure my friend would too. Where is your party going to be held?" It would be good to know so that after Lex came across Canon again, they could both go to the party together. He smiled excitedly.
