Krilana I have to take a lab science eventually and it is going to be some sort of physics. I love physics, I'm just not good at applying what I've learned crying . I understand concepts but hand me and application problem and I am clueless haha You know, I find that this is one of the primary flaws with today's education system. They jam our heads full of trivia and rarely teach us how to deal with the real world.

I don't know how many other fic writers/artists are out there.. but what about monthly challenges? Like they do on lj/ff.net a couple other groups?
I'm always looking for more muse ideas, maybe list two or three ideas (or just one)- something ambiguous enough it could work for any of the Tortall series?
People could submit art, writing, poems whatnot?
I never can find enough challenges for TP, and I've been trying to pop back into writing it.

Fyliwion << I know I'm new but I had a thought. I don't know how many other fic writers/artists are out there.. but what about monthly challenges? Like they do on lj/ff.net a couple other groups? I'm always looking for more muse ideas, maybe list two or three ideas (or just one)- something ambiguous enough it could work for any of the Tortall series? Could be fun, like having our own writing arena? How's that sound?

I was thinking again...(a very dangerous pastime, I know!)
Maybe we could also use the Royal University subforum to put up threads to our fav subject, like interesting facts, and or advances and developements that other could read about and that they could ask questions about.
How does that sound? Or is it a bit much? redface sweatdrop

I think we need a retired subforum. To keep the Marketplace clean, we should move out seasonal things like the Secret Sandcastle thread and your birthday thread. I don't want to deleat them (too much sentemental value!), so a retired subforum would be the records of the guild, if you will. Prehaps the History Hall, or somthing?

FireFallAngel I think we need a retired subforum. To keep the Marketplace clean, we should move out seasonal things like the Secret Sandcastle thread and your birthday thread. I don't want to deleat them (too much sentemental value!), so a retired subforum would be the records of the guild, if you will. Prehaps the History Hall, or somthing? Good idea... I'll put it up immeadiately. If I miss something in the 'clean-up' would you mind chucking it in? smile
