Nova tried to comprehend what Arcane was saying, but the pain in his shoulder, plus the fact that Arcane was 'manhandling' him numbed his thinking. He shivered and whipered as Arcane curled around him, and groomed him. Though as Arcane continued to groom, his shivering got less.

Arcane noticed and groomed more keeping his body relaxed around Nova. He gagged a bit and couched as some fur when down the right way and finally lay his head down a few inches away from Nova. By this point a storm was rolling in and Arcane opened on of his wings and carefully lay it over Nova to keep him warm.

Nova stopped shivering and tried to get up, he could smell the storm and wanted to get home, he limped towards the entrance, not realising his shoulder hurt less, and wasn't as stiff as before.

Arcane had almost fallen asleep when Nova moved. He looked up and barked at him. "hey!" he looked like he was about ot yell again but he sighed and got up stepping over to Nova. "alright if you really want to get home that badly...." He lay down in front of Nova and opened his wings fully so he could get on. "I'll take you, you should get rained on or you'll catch cold."

Nova flinched as he heard thinder in the distance, he shuddered "n..n...no way am i g..g....g..going in that" he said, eyes showing alot of white, more afraid of the storm than he was of wanting to get home.

Arcane looked back then sighed and got up again. He came around be hind Nova and slipped the other male on to his back fluidly. "It will be fine, look I can out fly a storm." He opened his wings and locked them a bit to keep Nova on his back. "hope you don't get air sick!" He then took off running and leaped a few timed before finally getting air born.

Nova supressed a yelp as Nova slid him onto his back, he wriggled a little but couldn't get down, so he sighed and layed down, ears plastered flat to his head, fur sticking out at all angles, he was terrifed, of both the storm, and of this trip on Arcane's back.

Arcane soared alone in the air. He flapped his wings still keeping Nova on this back. The ride was smooth for a time until the winds picked up. Arcane had to flap harder and speed up to keep the rain that followed at bay. He could feel the air cooling around him. Finally however, he landed trotting to a stop in front of Nova's cave. He was panting a bit and lay down inside the cave to let Nova off.

Nova whimpered the whole trip, feeling very sick when the wind got strong, but he held his small amount of food down. he slid off Arcane when they reached his den, "th...th..thanks" he stammered, flopping down and curling up in his own comfy den, that smelt diliciously of himself and Kyrina. "r..r...rest a b..b..bit" he suggested to Arcane.

Arcane smiled "your welcome." He said then opened his wings again. "I'll be fine! Feel better!" He then did a few bounces and took off high in to the sky again.
