I'm twenty three too. I joined the guild a few years ago when someone told me about it. I never really had a proper sex ed class in high school and it was up to me to find out things I needed to know before having sex, so I wasn't a teen when I joined. xp

I'm 23. 3nodding 24 in a few months. This guild isn't just for teenagers. The only people who can't be in here are pre-teens, but that's only because Gaia doesn't allow users under 13 on the site.

That whole pre-teen thing doesn't work. I came in here when I was twelve. I'm 14 now but when I turned 13 I changed my date of birth to 1996.

I do like the fact that there are older people on gaia because I can't stand all the illiterate immature kids on this site. When I was 13 I thought I was getting a bit too old for this site xD.

Well... Riku is my Twin, since you asked, I'm gonna get fired from my job. I have Asperger's syndrome, and it's hard for me to stock the shelves as fast as everyone else, so my boss has brought the hammer down and told me if I can't show improvement in 5 work days, she's going to have to terminate me. Because she seems to think I'm making no effort whatsoever, me being dropped like a bad habit is really inevitable at this point. I constantly feel tired, I feel like my body doesn't fit, I'm angry, I'm hurt, I feel like too many folks there treat me like I'm stupid, and I'm just too depressed to say anything to anyone about it. Everytime someone says "How are you?" I want to answer, "You want the truth, or do you want me to lie and say I'm okay?" I'm at the point where I get up somedays, look in the mirror, and think, "Goddammit, I'm still me."

I don't know where you live, but in some places that's illegal. scream She shouldn't be able to fire you over something like that? Go to the Labour Board if you can, and file a complaint.

Clearly a medical disability. She shouldnt fire you but instead put you at a more easier job or train you at the cash register or whatever, there is always a easier job for someone to do. Explain to your boss your issue and guarantee your commitment to hard work as long as that hard work doesnt struggle with your disability. I have scoliosis so lifting isnt my strong point either and i wear out easily as well.
P.S. Im 22, i might not come here to ask for help that often but i know life doesnt get easier as you age and a helpful suggestion towards the right decision is always nice.
