If (God forbid) you accidentally eat meat, would you feel guilty about it? I sure as hell do, (but then again, as a recovering anorexic, I feel guilty about eating anything, animal derived or not).

I never make that mistake. Cause I would feel bad and sick even. It is good to always check ingredients of things and to always home make meals, so you are 100% sure there is no animal products in your food.

I check labels and don't eat out much, so accidents are rare. But if I did find out that meat was somehow in something that I ate, I would not feel guilty about it. Because I wouldn't feel that I had done anything wrong. So what's to feel guilty about? Instead I would feel annoyed, disgusted, and possibly betrayed by whoever had put meat into my food.

Once at Costco, I accidentally ate a sample of some rice cooked in chicken broth. The woman serving the food did not immediately announce the rice had been cooked in chicken broth, nor was there any box of chicken broth on her display table or in the trash near her, that I could see. But when I heard her say there was chicken broth in it I immediately stopped chewing at spat it into the trash can. I didn't feel guilty because it was an accident. I certainly would've avoided it if I had known.

I never feel bad, just extremely disgusted and very pissed when there's meat in my food. if it's anything else I'm just really pissed, i know it's equally disgusting but i just don't find milk or eggs in let's say baked goods, as 'dirty' for lack of a better word, as I find meat =/

Not if it was an accident. How was I supposed to know if someone used a meaty ingredient and didn't tell me?
Currently, I eat meat (unwillingly) but when I go out, I avoid as much of it as possible.
