so apparently, to encourage more people onto Gaia and "socalization", they're rigging the DC so that you get better odds and items depending on how many people you've invited to Gaia. load of bullshit i say, because none of my friends both offline and on other sites have no expressed interest in Gaia, so i don't see the point in inviting them (and even then, i'm starting to prefer that friends on different websites stay on those websites for various reasons). so because of that, i'm gonna keep getting crappy items no matter what. sure, my luck is horrible in the first place, but i hate the fact that it seems like my bad luck is being engineered.
what do you guys think?

WHAT.
I say if they're going to do that, then just sell the rig, don't bother trying to gamble. Your odds of getting anything worth anything are slim if they're going to set it up that way.
Daily chance needs to give me a lot more gold and less crappy items.
My friends are all too old. > sad ugh. lol

hm, i think i should reword it. think i might have confused my wording since i used the word "rigging" with the "manufactured outcome" definition, and forgot about Gaia's RIGs sweatdrop though one could say that the RIGs are rigged...anyway, it's not that Daily Chance is being turned into one of those usual RIGs (at it's core, it technically is one, but that's not the point), it's that they're changing it so depending on how many people you've invited to Gaia, you'll get more expensive items and better chances to get them. you got zilch in terms of invites? the rewards in Daily Chance reflect that, so you get a miniscule amount of gold, trash, bugs, etc.
which is what i think is downright stupid.

This pisses me off too, BUT before we all get angry and mopey, let's think. This seems really easy to exploit, yes? We all just invite each other and make one, maybe two, mule accounts. I know I've already technically 'invited' my mules, so it should be a cinch.
Sound good?

We create a mule account and say we got invited by so and so.

The problem with inviting each other and making mules is that I think it said that the person invited has to "use" the site, not just join. I don't know how much that entails though, so... /:

Or we could just not use the DC and wait for the items to appear on the MP... then wait for those prices to lower.
That's my plan at least.
