I introduced myself to my best friend of 8 years the other day. I was helping her get into a IM conference with me and a couple other people and then once she was in leaned over and pointed out the names on the screen and told her who each one was then got to mine and said, "and I'm Sarah." I didn't even realize I had done it until I looked up and saw the dumbfounded expression on her face, she finally started laughing and told me she was pretty sure she knew who I was.

I do that all the time. In person. My friends have decided it's pretty much par for the course of knowing me.

Krissi-Chaos I do that all the time. In person. My friends have decided it's pretty much par for the course of knowing me. Mine was in person as well. I was sitting next to her on the couch. I don't normally do that however so I was pretty embarrassed once I realized it.

I suppose trying to open a laptop from the back would count as an epic fail...in my defense my mom and dad couldn't figure it out either... ^//^;;

I spent half an hour once trying to figure out how to turn a stupid Mac on razz
Eventually I figured out it was the butten on the back that had the on symbol...

I had a laptop-related fail the other day, too. I was lifting my laptop up to get a piece of paper out from under it, only to have the screen half flip down and hit me in the head...

Torzeh I had a laptop-related fail the other day, too. I was lifting my laptop up to get a piece of paper out from under it, only to have the screen half flip down and hit me in the head... Victoria, you should really tell the story about the award... That one was the best.

Lady-Sanctuary Yeah, but I looked at the back a couple of times and didn't see it... Ah...I did that with my parents tv once or twice. ^^; Torzeh I had a laptop-related fail the other day, too. Ow, that sounds painful. >_<; My mom nearly broke hers while we were trying to open it from the back.
