I was not around until 2005-2006, so I do not know about Runescape classic.

I predict that Runescape will be gone if they don't change it a lot. There will be a lot more changes, it probably won't even resemble the game we know now.

Runescape will have to change a lot to get more attention, because right now, It's not a fun game to play.
