Not to break off topic, but those side categories ... Are you a member of the Order Daven? I see a white robe, I see the awen symbol, and here I thought I was all alone on gaia.

After some reading I see that you are Wiccan. I myself have been studying under Druidry for 3 years now, and I have yet to meet one on Gaia, though I know several elsewhere.

I am also a member of the Ord Draiocht na Usnech (and I probably misspelled that), a splinter group of the Henge of Keltria. I still consider myself a Druid.

I tend to have a fusion of Celtic, Japanese and Wiccan spirituality in a lot of ways.

Ironic that all this rain happened on Beltane.

Yeah? I heard it happened a few days before I got back, but thats insane. Mother nature at work I suppose.

Wow, that's some flooding- buildings are under water up to two floors high?! Flooding is a big problem here in Britain too, 'cause there's water everywhere. Fortunately, I live on high land as well, so it has never affected me. I hope you and people who are living around the area are safe.

There's no high land in Britain... Unless you are in Scotland...

Compared to what other countries call "high land", England's as flat as an iron-board...

But you don't exactly need to be up a mountain to escape a flood. I happen to live near a river valley- so I am on high ground compared to the river and floodplains. Flooding has never affected my area, even though it rains epic-ly all year round.

I get laughs out of British people when they go to other countries, point at a hill and go: "Wow, look at that mountain!"
