Evan awoke, feeling cold and shivering a little. He wasn't used to this horrible feeling when usually he had two large, muscular arms around his waist to keep him safe, warm and the happiest boy on the planet. Blinking a few times, he lifted a hand to rub his eyes, not really being able to see all that well without his glasses which were over on the small chest of drawers which contained all of his clothes. His room was no larger than that of a cardboard box, which explained why he tended to sleep at Kane's house more often than his own. But tonight his grandmother had called, saying she had a cough and as always, she said there was a chance that tonight was going to be her last. The old woman was lovely and all but she was always speaking about the day she was going to die and never spoke about the future, thinking she wouldn't be there. It was upsetting seems as she was a pretty healthy lady and the last relative of Evan's. He had the choice between the elderly woman or moving away with his parents to England and well, he hadn't wanted to move.
Rolling over, he was faced with a strange cream colour, something he couldn't really identify as anything and moaning, he poked it and ran his hand across whatever it was, it was smooth that was for sure and felt like skin. Evan chuckled a little as he realised and remembered who was in his bed with him and who had stolen all of the duvet. Smiling, he shuffled and crawled himself on top of Kane then over to the other side of him, hovering on the very edge of his single bed, looking over his shoulder to the fuzzy face of his gorgeous boyfriend. Smiling more, he reached out, his hand hitting something in the process and grabbed his glasses, placing them on to his eyes. Looking down, he noticed he'd hit Brian, the great dane round the head while getting his spectacles but the dog was so huge and stupid that it didn't even wake up.
Now with the vision he needed, he rolled over and shoved Kane across as best as he could so he had enough room then snuggled up right in to his chest. "Morning." He mumbled quietly, kissing the under-side of the blonde's chin and looked over his face, each curve and hard angle. Gah how did he used to hate this guy? Probably because he bullied him like crazy but now he was so perfect, with the odd fault which they worked out. He just loved him to pieces and knew Kane felt the same in return. After all, Evan needed the strength and protection and Kane needed someone with brains to make up for the lack of his own. Not to be snobby or anything.
