That explains why Japan hated the US, but it doesn't explain why the US hated Japan.
We didn't hate Japan, we only needed a way into the war and they provided the way.
Actually we hated Japan and our aggression against them has no explanation.
We did not hate Japan and name how we were aggressive towards them (other than the economy warfare which was for provoking them into war). If anything our government remained defensive on all accounts up till Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor is what caused a start in the aggression towards the Japanese, both in the public and the government.
I'm not even going to argue with you on the account of how wrong you are. I'm trying to stress out the point that this bullshit has been happening long before that other stuff. You're thinking more about the 1920's and 30's. I'm talking about everything before up until 1867.
Japan, as a whole country, because of a 74 year grudge. The Government had changed twice (Major changes) since that time period with constant assassinations during the Great Depression. Japan at the time didn't hate America for what was in the past, Japan didn't hate America for helping modernizing as a nation and becoming a force to reckon with. Japan in fact was a allied nation until the 1920s.
