The cat entered the catacombs and went through a deserted area. Before entereing the cat ran through a flower shop and so did Akura and a rose got stuck on his shirt as he chased the cat. " Damned cat... I'm never taking a mission like this again!" He yelled as the echoes blew up through the catacombs. Akura began to bet a little tired, he ran through a good portion of the village, and he was very tired, that cat was smaller, faster, had more stamina and was very much more agile that Akura was.nd so the game of cat and ninja continued through the catacombs.

" Why you frigging cat!" He yelled as he jumped down from the wall. When he looked over at the cat it was simply licking it's paw on top of a tomb stone. Now's my chance. Akura thought as he approached the cat but it didn't do anything, it was simply on the stone, it then stopped licking itself and looked at Akura, deep into his eyes, almost as if it was getting into his soul, a few minutes passed of stering until a old lady entered the are and took the cat " Thanks for your help Akura." The woman said but he had never seen this person before. " Mr. Mittens has a bad havit of running here and reuniting people." She plainly said before she disappeared into the dust and left some cash on the ground. Akura walked over and picked it up. " What did she mean by-" Akura was muttering until he saw the lonely tombstone. " In loving memory of Izumi Bashirou " The stone read and Akura couldn't help but fall to the ground and begin to cry. He then began to feel the thorns of the rose begining to stab him in the back, he then took it and placed it on the stone " Sorry for the time I spent whit out coming here." He said since he never knew where she was, he was so little when she was killed they didn't even tell him where the tomb was. He sat there as if he was meditaing and began to talk whit his mother; after a few minutes he stood up and parted to the training facility.

Zane smiled as he performed several seals. In an explosion of smoke, several shadow clones containing Zane's own chakra lined up in front of Tanzu. One of them held their hands out and created a sword made of pure sand. The clone dashed forward in order to counter Tanzu's double edged blade, swinging downwards with his sword.

Meanwhile, the real Zane stepped out of the room under the cover of the smoke. From the analysiz, several clones would do just as well as he did. Besides, he needed to get over to the chuunin exams in order to watch the fights.

Zane's clone was completely overtaken by the Malliable Darkness technique, an impressive move. It seems that Tanzu has now become adept in using the first stage of the demon. The shadow clones of Zane stepped forward, with one taking an extra step and standing in front of the others. "Tanzu...that is enough, you have proven that you show aptitude in controlling your demon, you've done well. Now power down and get some rest and get something to eat. Your friend Sora should be at the Tower taking her genin test....you should be there when she comes out," Zane told him.

✘✘✘✘ "That was waaaaay too close for comfort. Now I have rebuild my stupid body...that's always a hassle..." Zane sighed as the roof on one of the rooms to the catacombs collapsed and a gaint salamander puppet dropped down into one of the rooms of the deceased. "Man...good thing I managed to eject my core into this puppet just in time. I had so conveniently burried it beneath me during the battle so that it could swallow me up and take me under just in case things went sour," he continued as the salamander walked through the hallways of the catacombs. "The new Kazekage is powerful indeed, and all the shinobis have become stronger. There's room for improvement...but I'm satisfied. Sand is definitley much better off without me. Well, now that they think I'm dead, I guess I should head on out of here. Time to hit the next village," the salamander spoke as it burrowed through one of the walls and continued traveling underground.
