I think it should only be legal if the results attribute and benefit non-human animals, where as humans should undergo human animal testing to benefit and attribute to human animals.

Indeed you have the right idea! Maybe do the testing on murderer's or something on that order.

anyone here have diabetis? statistics say there have to be a few. if not for animal testing, the insulin injections you use would not exist. Ironicly enough, the head honcho up at PETA(I forget her name, don't really care to llearn it either) is a diabetic, and she aknowledges that she ues insulin derived from animal products, and calls it a nescesary evil.

neutral ooooooookay. That's a strange person...Well, as I've said before, my personal opinion on animal testing is that it's necessary and okay as long as it's for medical reasons and the animals are treated the best ways possible...But for cosmetics, beauty supplies, LAUNDRY DETERGENTS (this is so ridiculous!)...etc. It's unnecessary.

I support animal testing in the field of medical science. I has had great succes, and as someone stated; testing on humans would prove inadequet.
Testing has saved many lives. I'm sure that if one of your mothers or loved ones were dying and could be saved by animal testing you wouldn't even hesitate to give the ok. It is not a matter of not caring for animals, but a matter of caring for humans and loved ones. All I think is that those who treat animals cruely need to be punished. But I do support testing 100% in medical cases.

Yes, for medical reasons and for medical reasons only. BUT NOT FOR SOMETHING AS LAME AS VANITY, what with all the beauty products and whatnot. And then LAUNDRY DETERGENTS. Seriously, LAUNDRY DETERGENTS. When is someone gonna accidentally shove laundry detergent down his/her throat and leave it untreated? rolleyes

Fully agree with both of you, animal testing for beauty products is totally retarded in my opinion and quite frankly I would respect and enjoy a ladies beauty more if it was natural, not with 20 layers of make-up! I mean come on!

It is indeed a sad world we live in, my friends.

So any ideas on how we can stop the animal testing for beauty products?
