-hmm..rethinking this suggestion and shall make any edits and share any new ideas that come to mind for LoL- <3
Admittedly, making suggestions is a challenge since LoL is already a great B/C methinks~ ^U^
I'm finding that prodding my brain to exercise creativity for thinking up possible ideas for the shop is fun at the same time ahaha~ >U<

I think writing science lab reports has something to do with why my last undergrad quarter's dance reports and this suggestion's proposal got quite lengthy ehehe >u<; <3

Perhaps additional activity incentives can be implemented, such as:

Charm Invitations

Players receive charms according to three points:

A. One charm is given for one RP (ORP/PRP/solo) post a month.

B. For completion of an ORP or a PRP, all players involved receive a charm provided that they each submitted a claim.

C. Shop thread conversation posts (a post with only an image(s) or text-emote(s) will not qualify) from the first to last day of a month according to a set timezone are entered into a raffle, rolling by page then post, and each winner receives one charm. There would be a minimum of two charms each awarded per month to different winners for this point. The first roll qualifies players who have received at least one charm from either point A or B. The second roll qualifies everyone, players who received at least one charm from one of the other two points, lurkers and players on RP hiatus or who haven't been able to post an RP post during that month for any reason but were present in the shop thread.

So per month, an individual can be awarded a max of three charms.

Players can post a form in a guild thread to redeem charms. Charms are not transferable between individuals and are exchangeable for a certain reward. For thirty-six (or another determined amount of) charms, the reward could be a bonus uncert of the individual's official or future-when-official character.

Regulating Conditions:

The dates of links given in the claim thread are important, because only those posts made and -- in the case of point B -- PRPs and ORPs completed during that designated month currently being addressed will qualify. The deadline for claim submissions could perhaps be assigned as the fifteenth of the month after the month charms are being redeemed for (ex. September 15 deadline for August claim submissions). And point C rolling could perhaps take place the day or soon after the fifteenth of the month after the month charms are being redeemed for (ex. point C rolling is done after September 15 for August charms).

Indeed, it is possible for the same linked post to qualify for a charm from point A and for a charm from point B if the terms of both points are met.

Indeed, charms earned while a character was a student carryover to further growth stages provided that they have not yet been redeemed.

Bonus uncerts can only be redeemed for the character's current stage. (( edit to add: )) A character should be in their current stage for at least a year and/or met half their requirements to grow to the next stage at the time a bonus uncert is being redeemed.

Claim form format could be:

Redeeming charm for..
Username(s): present and previous since joining shop activities, particularly if this incentive system is no longer a new running event for record pull-up's speed and clarity
Point: A/B/C
Link: to RP post; post in completed ORP or PRP; page or post of raffle award announcement and point C claim is the only exception to the deadline and the point C claim form is posted by a staff member for each winner or not at all and directly logged in the system records instead

Format of form to exchange charms for a bonus uncert could be:

I'd like to exchange 36 charms for a bonus uncert for..
Character: name linked to journal

Bonus uncert slots can be regulated and tracked in a similar fashion to how growths' slots are and can be opened less frequently such as perhaps once or twice a year.

Two record-keeping threads can be publicly accessible for viewing. The format of these could be:

first thread | names with charm totals and links to bonus certs

total # of redeemable charms : username(s)
bonus uncerts | one - two

33 : Tebiki/BikiCakes
bonus uncerts | one - two

Last Updated On: August 22, 2012, 11:03 AM PST

second thread | monthly tracking

one post per month to be edited with updates

username : calculation of charm amount with links to claim links (to posts/to pages) given

BikiCakes : 37 + 1 [A] = 38 - 36 [bonus uncert exchange form] = 2 + 1 [C] = 3

Last Updated On:

I was trying to think of an ongoing event geared to be as minimally overwhelming as possible to track which also is designed to further encourage and reward activity beyond meeting growth requirements while also encouraging unhurried and wholesome quality over quantity of activity posts.

I have a question about religion in this setting! I want to know more about the common religion based around the Goddess and what religion it most likely parallels (I'm assuming Shinto?)

I was also wondering if other religions would be acceptable so long as they make sense within the context of the setting. Personally, I was thinking about creating a quest character with ties to Tibetan Buddhism, so I am wondering if other religions are acceptable to play out in the setting? I am also happy to have it still connect to the Goddess and perhaps just have the more unique religious rites painted in such a way that they extend from perhaps a specific region in the world or something of that nature.

Thank you!

I WILL TAKE THIS.

There are lots of religions in Lunaria. My own Lunarian is into Shamanism XD.
So. As long as its not like. Christianity or Viking...ism. Or some other -ism that is not dominantly western / unasian. THEN DO FOR IT. I mean, with such a mixture of different cultures, not everyone is gonna believe in the same thing smile
