So i started manga in 5th grade but i didn't actually get to One Piece till 7th. I was lucky enough to catch(if you call it lucky) One Piece for the first time on 4kids. In that moment i think my life changed. I became a huge fan for all time! So i was wondering, when did you(anybody in general) start with One Piece?

You know I couldn't swear to it but I think it was on cartoonnetwork and the episode where Luffy saved Zorro. I was hooked pretty quick but I couldn't tell you when I actually started it. I've watched so many animes and read so many manga's it's hard to keep track. I got onto anime around four or five years old technically as I fell in love with Sailor Moon but it wasn't until late elementary or middle school that I got into other animes or knew what anime was.

around 6th grade i got into anime. as for one piece, i too first saw it on 4kids or cartoon network. i liked that theme song but the japanese theme songs fit it better and still rock. i had only seen it once or twice when i was younger (i don't know when) then i got back into it around 8th grade. i laughed so hard i almost fell out f my chair! xd i also like the japanese version SO much better. (WHY THE HELL WOULD A PIRATE CARRY AROUND A CORK GUN?!?)

I got into anime in the 9th grade which was in 1998. My first animes were Speed Racer and Sailor Moon. I had a friend lend me his subtitled Sailor Moon VHS tapes and I was hooked after that. What I liked most at the time was that Sailor Moon had swearing in it, which kind of blew my mind. I had never seen a "cartoon" that allowed swearing before then. rofl
I became interested in One Piece a few years ago, I think around 2006. I watched one or two episodes on Cartoon Network and then switched to watching the subbed version and reading the manga. I have been caught up on the manga for a few years and wait for it every week. I cry when Oda-sensei takes one or two week breaks for research or holidays though, it hurts to miss a week! gonk
