I honestly don't have any idea, but I'd be willing to bet it's a lot less complicated than what girls think (Note: less complicated doesn't mean dumb).
But... seeing as we have one in the guild, why don't you ask him?

They actually are more complicated! For us at least. See, if you have no idea what they could be thinking, then they are complicated, no?
Believe it or not, we are a big deal in their lives - though it does not always seem like it. And they have something that we don't - an ego. As big as it may seem, it is extremely fragile!
And we have a kind of power over them.
If a guy calls him a fool, he's just beat him up and forget a bit. BUT if a girl calls him a fool, there must be something wrong.
But, girls! By all means do NOT go around breaking these poor creatures! Power comes with responsibility.
Oh, and might as well add that their hormones are very different than ours. While we can admire a hot guy on the each, they can't help but visualize about us a bit further. Please note that this is not their fault, but simply sin clouding their minds. And please, for heaven's sake, don't accuse or scold them! Encourage them, in a very supportive and affectionate way, to fight these thoughts!
Girls, yes, boys are even more emotionally fragile then us. So think twice before you break his heart!
