Okay.. so change makes me chafe. I'm set in my ways and yet I'm
not getting the HATE over the changes on My Gaia so dear sweet guildmates care to 'splain?
What about it makes you rage and is there anything you like about it?
How would you feel about it if you could turn off or edit certain notifications?

It looks plain, and more of a temporary page. I didn't realize it was the new Mygaia page until I had clicked the notices for quite a few times.
Plain and ugly. And there's the bird.. Which strangely reminds me of Twitter...

It's the old "I just got used to this why are they changing it AGAIN?!" rage for me. x3
Like Icarus, I don't like getting a notice and a PM at the same time, either. Though, I will admit that it's nice that I don't get emailed anymore about some reply to a post I made or a thread I made or when some kid decides to PM me outta the blue. Keeps the junk mail down.
What I would love to know, though, is why I get two notices for each aforementioned event. Now THAT'S irritating.

Okay so seems the verdict is that it looks unfinished and has some kinks to work out?
The twitter type bird was probably intentional. Gaia has like a million pop culture references.
Eizzy - at least your honest! Like I said change makes me chafe too.

In the spirit of spreading the chafe round what would everyone change about the new page?
I was thinking about moving the marketplace notices to the bottom so we can ignore them if we want
but still have them around. I like being able to glace at that info.

Umm yeah. Make it tidier. I don't mind if the change makes the page looks better, but it doesn't. =P

Well. It's been over a year now - the new My Gaia page is pretty much an accepted part of our Gaian lives.
Or is it? Anyone still festering rage for over a year?
