poocaninesun keira-senpai chelonia I understand that you can get the raccoon if you befriend Vesta, but I haven't gotten it yet, and I talk to her and give her stuff alot... I heard you get the lizard by befriendly the snow monster thingy, giving him flowers or fish everyday in the winter, hasn't happened for me yet... And the little dog from Carter if you get all the tablets... The only thing I've gotten from Vesta is the Weird Hoe, I didn't know she could give another item... The tablets can be found once a Year, not by Chapters, but considering you can only get one a year you have to be at least Year 7 before you can get the dog, and it gets a bit harder to get them as the years grow because the site gets bigger with each year... Yeha. Vesta has to give you the Wierd Hoe before she gives you the raccoon. It's so cute! 4laugh I found something on the internet about the raccoon after looking for forever, and they ssaid the problem most people are having with getting it is that you have to befriend EVERYONE on the farm, meaning Celia, Vesta, and Marlin *he's usually the one no one befriends* and then she'll give it to you. Now I'm finding info on getting the turtle, but that one seems a little shaky to me. Though, if you can get the raccoon and the lizard, I don't see why you can't get the turtle. So, in case this is true info, here's what I've found: You have to be at least Year 2, and be very good friends with Cody, and after awhile he'll give you the turtle.... Dunno how true that it though...

I'd just keep giving him lots of flowers, it takes a bit but he becomes good friends with you after a while over it. Be sure and let me know if you get it! I'm interested now!

There's a pig? I thought that wasnt until Magical Melodies. I only have the ducks and the cat, and I dont think you get another dog until near the end of the game.

You get the pig in Harvest Moon 3, which came out for Gameboy Color, and you got to choose which pet you wanted at the beginning. Magical Melodies is what they named Shiawase no Uta, or Poem of Happiness, here in America. Its the next gamecube installment. There's a thread on it that I've been posting the story about on.

Lavendar-Moon There's a pig? I thought that wasnt until Magical Melodies. I only have the ducks and the cat, and I dont think you get another dog until near the end of the game. Not in the GC version, just in MM or on the GBC version. As for the dog, he's in Year 7 at the earliest.
