" nope.." Syd said softly as he say sarafeen the other person who was travleing with them. he just watched as the rocks rippled in the water " I have been busy with work. the shop is not going to close just because i am levaing." the male said just above his last tone." What about you both ." he said incase sarafeen was in ear shot. the only female was always beating on Reho but it showed how close they where but they all grew up together, its like they where friends. " I have gotten food together thats about it." syd was lieing working on armor and weapons from last years supplys was what filled his time. but now that was done the male was free to do what ever. " Achaius just enjoy the down time." the male gripped the rock looking at the selkie.

He nodded. "I know. Besides, I really don't have that many possessions. It won't take me but a few minutes to pack." He wondered if anybody passing by could hear them? Both men spoke so softly, it was a wonder anybody was ever able to hear them. "Haven't gotten around to it because of the farm."

He'd tossed another rock.

syd watched the rock hit the water it was about knee deep, or around that. still gripping the stone the male looking his hand it was white at the knuckles from his grip. " It don't matter about that its about how much stuff you need to live for a year." Syd had his things planed out in his head as she still aproched it was not like she was far away, he could almost reach out and touch her in fact he did, the male poked her side.." Poookke." Syd exclamed as his finger hit her side. the male smiled at this fact. " Well I bet you that Sarafeen is packed." Syd let go of the rock with a spalsh due to the foce the placed in the throw.

She glared slightly at the Clavatian male before kicking him into the river "Dont poke me..." she always had been iffy with people touching her. She looked to Achaius "Idiots got a point, its a years journey, we need to be well prepared at the most..." Setting the bag next to her she moved to sit next to the Lilty in the Clavats previous spot. She had the body type every female Selkie had, curvy and busty. Only difference was unlike most she didnt like to show it off.
She sat, fiddling with her frayed skirt before smoothing out silk leggings she wore.

Achaius glanced at her. "Yes..." He said. "I'll ask Fafnir about it tonight." Third times the charm wouldn't hurt, right? Surely his father wouldn't send him away without supplies! Fafnir didn't detest him that much. Besides, Pater would back him up, though only the gods knew why.
He pulled his hat down (he'd never been one for showing off his head), and watched to make sure Syd didn't drown.

the male saw the water comming and jus braced for impact it was not a far fall from to the water . splash was the on;ly sound you could hear this time syd landed face first into the water. soft gurggling sound came from the male for a while he was recovering from the fall.. once he did standing up oin the shallow water was the easy part, with soft movements the male waded to the collom that and started to climb.with his trademark smile and bright eyes " Hey to you as well. " the Clavat male was soaked and he sat right next to Selkie. he was only slightly brused this could hurt him tomarrow but for now he was happy to have people talk to him. The male shook the water off much loke a moogle would getting them a bit wet. his clothes kept almost all the water.

There was a slight pause within himself as Sarafeen was bashing his head with a some object she was lugging around. Obviously he felt the power behind her blows, But he had his mind on something else. There was many reasons why he wanted to tag along. Of course what goal they all generally shared, But for himself he had a place he wanted to search for. For reasons unknown, Not letting that information slip out of his mouth and keeping it a objective of his own.
He smiled as he saw Sarafeen kicked the young calvat into the pond below, Reho then turned his eyes away from the group, Gazing at the clear evening sky. " You guys seem like your ready for a raid or something, Everyone seems a bit negative. Of course, I could be just imagining things. With Sara smashing my head in and all." The male let out a soft snicker as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I dont think its negative..." She shrugged "Could just be me though. Jojo was sitting next to her, having followed Reho to his sisters location. The boy was silent as ever, preteens always were the best years. Sighing she stood "Well...we depart tomorrow...be at the caravan on time or suffer pain" She glared at the three males before smiling to her brother "Come Jojo, Dads cooking tonight..." that said she turned, walking with her brother back to the fishermans house.

Achaius nodded slightly, and looked up at the sky. "...I'd better get home." He said, standing up, brushing hair out of his face. "See you all tomorrow." Putting his hands in his pockets, the lilty walked off to, once again, try to ask his father about supplies. Gods, this is NOT going to go well. Not at all...

" if you anything before tomarrow come to my house! " Syd shouted to him as he walked away still sitting in the same spot, unsure what happened just now.' A raid is what we have to do get the foe off gaurd and keep together and win.' is what the male was thinking as he was always the last one heading home for supper. the male grabbed one last Rock and tucked it in his pocket. A small keep sake from home.
A place worth dieing for, while his hands where crammed in his pocket the male made his way home, sneaking out tonight was his plan of corse the male would be home for tomarrow but he wanted to try on his gear. That and he had to make sure the others things fit as well, this would have to hold out untill tomarrow..
Syd ate dinner quickly once it was time to eat washed up and went to bed. with his window opened incase he was needed the soft sound of Rain hitting the glass of the window and the slight smell of rain it was a restful sleep.

He rubbed the back of his head absentmindedly while everyone was heading home, Not noticing that they were he remain standing there. While a soft and soothing breeze blew against his back, He continued to stare off into the sky. Teeth purging down against his bottom lip and a gleam of determination and thoughtfulness sheen across the male's earthy globes. " Tchh... "
Snapping back to his senses, His eyes scanned the area about, His face grew with a confused and puzzled look. " And now they just leave without saying anything to me... such nice people. " The male let out a long sigh as he left from his spot to go back home, His eyes lowered to the ground as he stuffed his hands into his pockets and took long and slow strides. Seemingly as if he didn't want to go home.
The alchemist house was brightly lit with life and laughter, Kids sprawling around in the dining room, Mom yelling at the little ones to get ready for supper. Dad chatting up with his uncles and teaching a few of his siblings just what is 'Alchemy'. It had seemed like he had the good life, A great one at that. Yet... A smile was far from his features. Joy and happiness was almost void inside of him. A little drizzle started to pat down, Quickly soaking his clothes. While everyone rushed into shelter, He continued to absentmindedly trot to his home. Pretending that he had a urge to return home.

Pater looked up from the washbasin outside.
"Ah!" He smiled a little, and rubbed the back of his head. "There you are. Just in time for your going away dinner!"
Achaius doubted the intention of tonight's meal, but didn't say anything, and rubbed his brother's head. "Where's father?" He started walking. Pater tagged along behind him.
"At the table already. The nice ladies next door sent you a pie, by the way!"
The boys found their father supping quietly. He'd worked himself hard today, that much they could tell by the way he was inhaling his food. He glanced up at them. "...So."
The brothers sat down. "So..." Pater echoed, twiddling his thumbs and glancing at Achaius. The latter was fixing a plate, and didn't look up at them.
"Achaius, you'll be leaving tomorrow." Fenrir said. "Off to explore the world, have grand adventures..."
Achius glanced up, and popped a piece of meat in his mouth. Fenrir continued.
"I suppose you'll be needing supplies."
Pater nodded for his brother. "Yes! He'll need a lot of it to contribute to the caravan." He thought for a minute. "...Father...Shouldn't both of us go? We're the same age."
"I'll have none of that nonsense." Fenrir stabbed his slab of meat, and sawed away at it. "I need you here, son." He glanced at Achaius; Achaius stared back. "....." After a minute, Fenrir shook his head, and returned his gaze to his hardy meal. "Get some more sleep, for gods' sake. You always look tired. It's not healthy."

She felt otherwise about the trip, standing by the river next to her house, watching the rain hit the water. Yes, she was excited to leave and be part of something important, but at the same time she felt bad for leaving. Her parents had her and her younger brother, Jojo was just beginning to learn the Fisherman's trade like she had at his age.
The older brother they had had found a happy life in another village with a wife and kids, her Mother was pregnant again, the birthing was soon but she wouldn't be here to witness her sibling coming into the world. She was well aware she was beyond soaked, well aware Jojo stood in the doorway to their home, watching her "Go inside Jojo, I'm taking a walk"
He didnt go inside, instead watching her walk off. He didnt follow though.
Eventually she came across her Selkie comrade, shaking her head "Taking an awfully long time to get home aren't you?" A light chuckle left her.

Achaius continued eating, no expression. Pater blinked; it still unnerved him, his brother's neutral behavior. He stared at his plate for a while.
"...You ARE sending him off with supplies, right?"
Fenrir nodded. "I'll see what I can scrape up. That big storm last month took out of lot of the crop, so it may not be much."
Pater nodded, and they ate silently for the duration of the meal.
