There are many books I'd love to burn every copy of. One I wont mention because I don't wish to offend anyone....>.>

That sounds awful though.. I hate when they don't follow their own stories. -sigh-

Please don't bring Twilight into this guys, that book wasn't worth all the trouble it caused. lol.

rofl

I shudder to think what would happen if Linkara encountered Lover of Princess Kaguya.

You know what? Maybe we should re-write LOPK... replacing Kakeru with DR. ISANO!!! biggrin

Wait, you didn't want to burn Twilight?

That'd be a bad idea. Who knows what evil horrors might be released?

Later Anita Blake novels make me want to burn half the characters, though. I think it's the only series I've ever seen where the main character would cheerfully commit suicide or murder if they knew what was going to happen to them by the end of it (or even the middle, for that matter).

QFT. I heart you GS Saturn. <3 I feel the same way about Anita Blake.

Like I said- Twilight is Anita Blake's Younger and slightly sterilized sister.

I would never burn a book, they're too precious to my bookworm self. well, to be more accurate, I would never burn a Fiction book, the nonfiction(OTHER THAN THE BIBLE) you can light a fire too.

Actually, that's what I thought too when I first saw this. I checked it out from the library, read one chapter, and returned it.

Always, unless it's a How-to book, we need those, like Dummy's guide to Creating Atom Bombs

And of course, any "how to draw manga" book. Burn those and I hurt you.

I rather burn Twilight then Sailor Moon.

And besides, why bash Sailor Moon when any other manga is just the same way; as in scientifically incorrect? Its fantasy, meaning you can have Rl stuff applied, but you can also alter it to make it fantasy like? There is no law that you have to have everything 100% on the tee. I have read books or manga that had RL events, but they change somethings around to fit the plot. Sure it would be nice to have something scientifically correct, but this is based on a fictional character and story, not some history book or non-fiction story. If silly things bug you so much, why read it? You may not like it cause of its scientifically incorrectness or whatever reason, doesn't mean others share the same view. This is for other books or manga as well, not just Sailor Moon. Burning books because you hate it is just stupid in my opinion.

Then again, Twilight is more a disease than a book.

It is an epidemic and a plague, I agree.

Let's all just end by saying that Twilight is a terrible book which we all heavily dislike and not bring it up again.

Because, I think we can agree on that, right?

And back to the scientific inaccuracy? Not like Science was COMPLETELY accurate to begin with...

And it changes a lot...

Oh well. Heh, science hurts but is fun anyway.

And back to the scientific inaccuracy? Not like Science was COMPLETELY accurate to begin with...

But it's usually far more accurate and closer to reality than the alternative. razz
