Okay, I might sound foolish, or maybe that's just me getting embarrassed over nothing, but no matter how many times I've tried to understand this,

God didn't get here. God exists out of time, which means he has no beginning and no end. and don't bother trying to understand how that works because it will just give you a headache. but that is how he was able to create the world. the beginning of the universe was the beginning of time, so only something outside of time could have made it.
