Standard Banner:

The Plan has just been implemented. I have made two alliance requests as I type this. One is pending and the other awaiting response. I won't say who but both are places that you may well have heard of, before.
While I spin my webs of alliances, I'll need your help. I would very much appreciate seeing my devoted and my faithful put this banner in your signatures. It will have a bearing on your standings, as of the next posting in the Top Disciples. Those who include this in their signatures will have their names underlined. Additional incentives may be implemented later.

The longer code (which doesn't run through tiny url and the redirection page) is now complete.

Please make sure to post here if you have added the signature so that you are given credit.

Personalized Banner:

I've been kicking around, for some time now, the idea of having badges. These would have your rank in the guild, your avatar, and your guild ID number (as well as the guild name, and all of the rest of the obvious sort of thing). These badges would work as personalized links back to the guild and would work in place of the existing banners in your signature and you would be given full credit for having the signature.
Those who are in the Top Twelve get the distinction of "Apostle." The default for everyone else will be "Disciple" although if you were here when the guild was still called "Matasoga's Lovelies" then you may instead claim the title of "Lovely" or if you came over from the guild "Matasoga's Minions" you may claim the title "Minion."
What else might you want on these badges? It ought to pertain to the guild and your role in it but I am willing to take all suggestions and all of your thoughts on the matter.
The "Banner" avatars thread would require your posting for this to work. I will not be regularly changing the banner so if you want a badge then I am going to need you to post your avatar there.
While I will be allowing for those who are not in the Top Twelve to request and use these banners, I will only be making them for those who have 100 posts or more. The reason being that those who have over 100 posts advance in rank more slowly/fewer times than those with less and my time is not an unlimited resource.
I do not yet have a template available for view. It will likely be a black-background and a black-letter font for at least some of the text, depending on readability. I am taking suggestions of pixel-sizes.
Now I'm not going to go through and make all of these if the interest is low, so I want to know that you would be interested. If you have any suggestions or would like to use a banner then please be sure to post below.

I do hope that in the end this winds up appealing to more than just the number one and two members.

If you actually take a look at the top 12, you'll notice that an awful lot of them aren't doing a lot of posting. In fact, without even looking at the list, I could probably rattle off at least three names of people who I either suspect or know for a fact will never, ever be coming back. If you keep posting and they keep standing still, you will get there. There really isn't any question of that.
Besides that, I will still make badges for everyone that has 100 posts. It's just that you won't have the distinction of "Apostle."

As it turns out, my digital editing skills have diminished more than I thought. Anyone that can help and has the right programs should see me. There would be some reward in it for you.
