I don't particularly like the new episodes of spongebob. Spongebob's gone backwards and seems to be more immature, Patrick's trying to be stupid and it's not working plus that one tooth is hard to look at, Squidward's still cranky but it's not the loveable cranky like it was before, Sandy's character has gotten way too exaggerated-too much yee-hah and Science WE GET IT, Mr. Krabs-I know he loves money but he doesn't have to proclaim it in EVERY sentence, and Plankton bickers too much with his wife.

Purple R Taco Kovva omg, spongebob is my least favorite cartoon, EVER. I agree with everything Other Winged Knight said, and add that the art is ugly. I watch cartoons a lot of times for the art involved...spongebob is ugly. I don't think it's funny when his face mutates into something else, or gets cut in half, and it's even less funny when he pulls down his pants. How is that funny? How is that good for kids to watch? spongebob can be super inappropiate sometimes. i'm surprised it isn't PG by now. hate that sponge, HATE IT. the sponge, for a few years, reigned supreme, starving all other shows of any attention or merchandising whatsoever. I blame it for killing off Danny Phantom. mad Danny Phantom didn't die though, it ended. Note- It doesn't air like it should, but it did end with a movie and it had a good end. It shouldn't have continued because, quite frankly, it would be like spongebob, getting worse and never ending. True, but it doesn't explain the lack of merchandising. Season three is a season many have never heard of because nick decided to show an episode out of context and out of order as a "movie event" when it was just a regular episode, confusing all the viewers (danny hadn't met frostbite yet, who is this guy?), then due to this rather unsuccessful move, dump half the episodes in one week, and soon after relegated DP's time slot to 1 episode at 5:30 in the morning (at least in the seattle area where i live.) I understand it had to end, but they could have given him a little more respect when they did it... and a little more merchandise? i want a danny action figure. they never had even that.

I can handle everything else, but the one thing that gets me is how they draw Spongebob's face now.I mean now it looks more kidish, and he is happy all of the time.I just don't know what it is about it.It just make me so annoyed.
