Yeah, I'm not saying that Takeuchi must have deliberately decided to make the grail into a stylized uterus/ovaries - if there's one thing we can determine from her art, it's that she's generally fond of using wings, and there are only so many shapes a grail can be.

Even so... this is the woman who thought "Star Gentle Uterus" made a good name for an attack. lol
