edit: i know I'm paranoid.

I personally think that dreams mean absolutely NOTHING. It's just random thoughts getting put into a random order by your brain. You are 13 and have TONS of time. Don't worry so much about dating and that. Honestly just have fun with your friends and do well with your school work.

I say don't fret about finding someone. Only a few people are lucky enough to find someone they truely and actually love in there school life. Don't let it bring you down and concentrate on now, not what may happen in the future or what may not happen. The more you concentrate on what may or may not happen the more you are likely to miss what is ACTUALLY happening. So don't worry about it, you have PLENTY of time left to find that person for you.

Sometimes dreams mean things, sometimes they don't. This is probably one time it doesn't.

Like you said yourself, you are only 13, and have tons of time to find someone. As far as dreams, I think they can reflect stuff you are worried about (like dreams where you forget homework or do something dumb in front of the opposite sex) but I don't think they actually predict stuff that will happen. Otherwise there would be some pretty strange stuff going on in the world.

(Hmmm...that would be odd. So many people flying and walking around in only underwear....)

Sometimes dreams are only nonsense and are a way of your brain getting all the thoughts out before you have to face another day. I've had times, though, where my dreams actually came true... so it's hard to say. It sounds to me though that your dream reflects something which you may normally only think of perhaps subconsciously - a fear.

They actually do. smile Dreams are creations of your subconcious and always, at some point, involve experiences you've had that day or in your (near) past, or events that have emotionally shocked you. This has been scientifically proved. It does not mean that every little detail in a dream has a significant meaning. If you've just read Dune and suddenly start dreaming of worms, it doesn't mean you're being troubled by the existance of those creatures, or something. That is where the hard part starts: separating the meaningful things, from the nonsense. Dreams mostly is symbolic, and is best explained by the dreamer him or herself, also by considering the emotions felt during a dream. The color lightgreen is one that makes me feel sick. Therefore, when I see the color lightgreen in my dream, but not experience sickness, but joy, I could, for example, conclude from that - depending on the rest of the dream - that I'm getting worked up about something while it's really not necessary.

Our subconcious mind is far smarter than our concious. We feel much more subconciously than we do conciously. That is how, that by a dream, we find out that we're actually worried about a certain thing. Something you could have sworn you don't give a crap about. Yet, that dream - that is there to help you through your experiences, including the events, emotions, thoughts you don't consiously notice (that you don't notice them doesn't mean you don't HAVE them. Example: someone lost a close relative, and is incapable of feeling the pain for several time. Does that mean he has no pain? It certainly does not, that is also proved by the emotional outburst that is bound to happen) - helped you realize it. And thus helped you on your way of solving the problem.

Dreams actually can help you solve problems, and not only by helping you on the way by making you realize there is a problem. How? Because you consiously - or subconsiously - brainstorm over a problem you're experiencing in your life. Such as trouble you might have with one of your siblings. That is an experience like any other, and will also occur in your dreams. The solution(s) might also. Often you'll find that the dream presents you with one solution, the one you think is best. Upon waking up (or later on the day, or even the day after or a week after), if you remember the dream, you get an Ahaaaaa-experience. You suddenly realize: 'what the crap, I know a great solution'. And if you don't remember the dream - it's still in your memory, somewhere, and waiting for the Ahaaaa-experience. You saw the solution, experienced it in your dreams. Then it just needs to re-surface. smile

I speak from my own experience. Many people think I'm crazy because I think dreams are very important in how we organize our lives. My dreams have 'warned' me. In fact, it's just myself warning me, but it did. I saw worries and troubles I did not see before. I have trained myself into remembering my dreams better and am attempting as best as I can to help people explain their dreams. I think it's very important.

So. Enough with the babbling. This was a long and probably not very useful post.

As for the actual problem - you're so very young. I understand your worries - at your age, I was very worried myself, too. I held myself in low regard, to say the least, and was scared I would never find a boyfriend. It was in that very same year I fell in love, and the guy, too. Although I was young, it was then that I had my first kiss.
Many say that the younger the are, the less mature you are, thus the less capable you are of having a serious relationship. My relationship with him took two and a half year. We were happy, we were serious, we had sex. We enjoyed life, enjoyed being each other, and I never regretted it (I'm 19 years now).

Your love will show up. I can guarantee that. smile

Well...i dunno about you, but i personally HATE it when people go "youre only 14" or 13 in your case. I get those worries too, but what i worry about more is if ill kill myself before i meet someone. As long as you keep living hun, im sure youll find someone.

I believe dreams are linked to real life, but only in some cases where what the dream is telling you is important. If its somethign like chickens taking over the world, i doubt it has something to do with real life.

The majority of the time, dreams are only ones sub-concious (spelling???) putting the events of your day into some illogical and irrational order which doesn't make sense to your fully awake state of mind, but does to the sleeping mind..

Mreow, I shall spare you my psycho-babble, and just tell you that this dream doesn't mean anything, or it could mean something, depending on who you are. You are much too young for anything that I pulled from it, and so I will not bother putting them forward.

Mreow, do not worry. Some dreams are just like that. They can express any desire that you want, but also any fear that your heart hides.

A dream is a dream
its not something you should worry so much about

its your subconcious speaking to you is all really
since youre paranoid
your subconcious was probably just telling you
that you're paranoid (even though you already know that)
so just try to put your mind at rest
because it dosent mean anything you dont already know

(btw that stuff about you dying in a dream means you die in real life, is fake or else I would be dead like 7 times over already)
