My BD was in the military for some time, and he advocates push-up recompense. We have to do ten push ups for every minute were late to something, fifteen for each marching error, and 50 for calling him "Susan" (long story 'bout that). But on the hottest of days I was late 7 minutes and someone had TATTLED to him that I had called his Susan a few weeks earlier so I somehow didn't die while I did 120 push-ups while Mr.Friend (BD) stood on his balcony and made idle conversation with me. It was GRUELING, but it was in good humor, not really the strict vibe, and I was never ever late again. biggrin
