Yes, it can work. I visit another state, where the guy lived, to see family occasionally so I met him. Still together.

Long story short, no. I've had many and none have worked out, for many reasons. I'm not trying it again, either. If it works, great. I'll stick to real people.

I'd say they don't work. I've had a few of them... My favorite one was with that guy, Wixi. It worked for about two weeks, but then our real lives got in the way. I've had some last for months... But life always seems to get in the way. I'd say they only work once you're over the age of eighteen.

I'm not really experienced in relationships, I've only had a couple of them and they weren't serious. Just friends in which I couldn't say no to. (I'm a softy pushover at times XD ) Honestly, (and all in seriousness x] ) I've never had an online relationship but I wouldn't want one. Not to be able to see that person, would must suck! To see smiles, smell their colognes, give hugs, and have the intimacy of talking face to face is the basis of a relationship, right? Although there is safety issues as well. Lying is easy-peasy when you are on the internet! If you want one, go ahead. If you can make it last and just feel comfortable with it. Knock yourselves out.

It is possible to meet people in the internet, in the real world :] But you have to make sure first that the person is what she says she is.
And if you are actually trying to meet her... You have to make sure that you plan the meeting on a crowded place =)
I know a case of a couple that met on the internet and they are still dating! And they are together since forever xD
But, some people will care about the distance... It depends only in this -> <3 Note: Make sure you make a safe meeting! You have to know who you are talking to!

I've been in a lot of online relationships. And learned a lot from them. For one... It's easy to be lied to. Two... It's easy to be cheated on. Three... They rarely work out. So I just don't date online. :/

I have and currently am in a long distance relationship and I think it works even if we're missing alot like just basic dates but which makes me sad. BUt being able to have someone close (figuretivly speaking) to talk to, other than friends makes me happy.
I also think its a matter of trust, other wise it wont work if you're both questioning eachother and using the distance as an excuse. confused
