Thinking of you, wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end,
and hope that our hearts will blend. Okay, Sabata's second topic in here.
Global Warming is all over the news. Polar Ice Caps are melting. Life as it is could cease to exist.
My question to you is, do you think Global Warming actually exists? If so, what do you think we could do to stop it, or if there is no way to stop it, what should we do to stay alive? If not, why do you think the news is talking about it?
My personal opinion is that it exists, but we can't stop it. It's too late. But there is yet hope for mankind. If we pump up our technology advancement, we can have buildings that can float on water, or even underwater cities. Hell yeah, Atlantis. You had the right idea.
But if we act now on trying to stop it, I can see Suikoden or Zelda Windwaker happening. A whole lot of islands. A whole lot of water. Beautiful vast oceans.
Now, I'm not saying Global Warming is a good thing, but that's my best case scenario. Worst case is we all swim with the fishes. Either way, something bad is happening, and if we refuse to change in some way, we all die. Simple as that. There are many worlds.
But they share the same sky.
One sky, one destiny.

I don't believe we're in a global warming situation. It's just some ploy to get people to line the government's pockets with money from the taxpayers. Sure, it's getting hotter, but that's only because the Earth is getting older. It may have a cold planet when it first was created, but as time grew and the people changed, we've learned to adapt to all the changes.

My dads job worked with Climate Change, so I really know about this.
Climate Change is real. It will change how we live on this world. It may end the world. It may cause another ice age.
Climate Change is natural, but we have done so much to help it. Hello, carbon emissions. And because it is moving faster than it should, these problems are coming faster than what we are prepared to face.
I really believe that if we can all stop pretending it isn't real because we don't want bad things to happen in our perfect world, because they only do in poor countries, tehn we can work to slow down Climate Change. But that's not going to happen. And that's very sad for all of us.
Because if it doesn't, people are going to die. And not a few, but a lot.

the earth goes in cycles about every 20 years. this same thing happened in the 20's, people freaking out about the earth heating up, the end of the world, etc. in the 40's, the earth started cooling down and people were freaking over that. from what i remember talking about with other people, the temperature in some places is heating up, but the overall temperature of earth is cooling down. also, al gore admitted to pigs and cows being the highest cause of methane.. and can only imagine what volcano eruptions barf into the atmosphere.
so, yes and no. global warming does exist.. but what al gore is trying to shove down your throat is a farce.

I do believe in global warming but how can the average person stop it? Other than taking the public bus or having a water container instead of buying water bottles.

i see satellite images of the melting arctic ice cap, and see Canada buying fighter planes to scare the Chinese away from the newly navigable waters over the north Canadian coast.
i see islands in the southeast Pacific drowning, first shrinking year by year and then completely drowning.
so sure, something is happening.
i do believe our activities have something to do with this- can all that jet exhaust in the stratosphere be a good thing? do we really need jet planes in the first place?- but surely humanity alone is not responsible for the whole mess.
