What if there were crocs in the water? What if there were other foxes, mean foxes. What if there were Deavas? Kito tried to catch up to Hitoru. "Hitoru! Wait up!" He called.
Gin growled louder, not pleased with whatever fox was challenging him. Standing, he stepped halfway out of the bush and looming over the two foxes. "Me. Now go away." He snarled at them.

He couldn't wait to feel that nice cold water all around him. Maybe there would even be fish. Well of course there would be fish there had to be if there was a lake. His mouth watered with the thought of eating fish. His ears then twitched as he caught Kito's voice.
"Oops..." he stopped and looked back and the panting fox who was trying to catch up with him. "Ah ha... oops... sorry about that Kito... I guess I got excited..."
Alibi stood his ground even after the monstrous figure stepped out of the brush. The thing was huge! Way bigger then he was by far. His eyes widened at the sight of the half fox half of what he assumed was bat. What kind of creature was that? He blinked then continued to stand his ground even though he really didn't want too.
"If you stay away from my mate and I well stay away from you..." He growled back.
((pore Alibi... has to be the big strong man even though hes scared shitless. XD))

"Excited? Do you always run into things when you're excited?" Kito asked softly, looking around them. "I don't see Gin. What if something dangerous got to him?" Kito asked. Anything that had the stomach to eat Gin wouldn't mind him and Hitoru either.
Argintie snarled in irritation. "Stay away? I can hardly do that now that you've called me out." He growled, taking another step. "I was merely enjoying my meal when you interrupted me." He twitched his tail, making the bushes on either side of him rustle.
Safiya blinked up at the winged fox, a little stunned that he was quite so big. "We're sorry we interrupted your meal, aren't we, Alibi?" She asked. She didn't want her mate to fight with this fox, she could see the bushes withering where his fire licked them.

Hitoru stopped and had to think about what Kito said.
"Uhhh..." he laughed nervously. "Actually... I think I do..." He looked back at him with a fully look. "Yeah right... anything stupid to take him on would be... well stupid. I don't think you have a thing to worry about.
He looked back at her then up at the creature and nodded. He wasn't about to go toe to toe with this thing.
"Yeah... were sorry... We didn't mean to interrupt your meal... it was just... you startled us..."

Kito blinked at the other fox, wondering how he'd stayed alive all this time. "That's...that's not safe." He blurted, completely forgetting the fact that his best friend was one of the more dangerous types of modifoxes. His ears flicked a bit as he caught voices. "Do you hear that?" He asked. Kito turned in the direction of the voices and took a cautious step towards them. After all, it could be Gin in that direction.
"Oh?" Argintie purred. "And your first instinct is to fight whatever startled you? How very open minded of you." His tail swished again in irritation, rattling the bushes to either side of him again. "Perhaps next time you will startle a mountain cat. I doubt you'll be able to make excuses to him."
Safiya laughed, high and tinkling. "Most likely not. But then, mountain lions don't come hurtling out of the sky either. I can see why you came here, though. After the desert this place is a paradise. I'm Safiya and this is my mate, Alibi. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Argintie eyed the silly female. Was she crazy? He'd been nothing but threatening and now she wanted to make small talk?
