Everyone hates drumline because they're waaay too loud. Drumline hates on the pit for some odd reason lol. I'm a pit player but I have a line part which is weird so I don't really hate on anyone xP

Our band doesn't really have a specific hate section smile We all have a spacific hate person. But if I had to pick one I'd say Drum line cause they can all be jerks razz

There are no sections that I currently hate. But in high school I had to sit behind the French horn section, and many of them were doubling on the horn and were learning it there.
It was not pretty.

Trombones. And since our music all seems to have major trombone pieces in it, it only makes it ten times more infuriating when they can't play it. And they all seem to seriously bite at marching, as well.

Hrmm.
We hate the drum Major as well. she gets whatever she wants and dogs on us Tubas. Just because our band director is a tuba player. so she hates us. And she plays flute, and our flutes suck. So yeah.
And she is so unfair.!

Trumpets and Flutes.
My BD is a trumpet and he loves them with all his heart, and it took me switching to see how annoying they really were. Our Brass captain is a trumpet, and they always yell at us Mellos. Like, when we're marking off sets, they yell at us to get in the form. And when we've fixed it, are waiting for them to fix it, and are trying to ask questions, they yell at us for not getting in the form.
The other day really pissed me off. I was being a good, articulate Mellophjone, and moost of are section is articulate. Well our BD tells the trumpets to get behind us and tell who wasn't articulating. Pissed me off, I wish I could've nailed one with a visual. I'm so glad marching season's over. The freshman are worse because they act like they're seniors just because they got a spot. One yelled at me to guide. Um, no, I was guiding, and he is a freshman. Okay, rant over...

i dislike the saxes, the drum line, and some of the trumpets. the saxes always play too loud and get everyone yelled at. the drum line never know where they are in the music and during practice some of the trumpets yell at everyone for doing things wrong and they end up being the ones who did wrong. what's with all the hatred to the low brass i take offense as a tuba player.

I quite agree.I'm a tuba player too but I play a couple other instruments. Out of all the ones I play Tuba is actually the hardest...and the heaviest. So you should hateing on the instrument....hate on the person. The instument has nothing to do with a person's personality. neutral

In my school band, we don't really hate anyone. Sometimes the drums play too loud, the saxes are always too loud and one of the two school bands has too many flutes (because most years, about half the flutes switch to other instruments, and last year only one did, and she switched to oboe), and maybe three trombones. Oh, and the percussion sometimes forgets their music, which is annoying. I play picc, and there are only three people who do, one of them is our drum major, and she kinda does favor the flutes... but just a little. The other drum major does favor the saxes, and the band director favors everyone but the drum line (because they forget their music a lot). But we are pretty tightly knit.

Our entire band HATES sousaphones. Can't take them off your shoulder, so you have constant pressure on your shoulder, so we have tubas. Tubas sound better too.

We have a small band, so we all are uber close. So you love each other or hate/ love each other. The section we hated most was clarinets during marching season. Its still marching season, but our football team didn't make play offs, so we didn't play anymore since the first Friday in November. During practice they were always back talking to the flutes and were unwilling to work with the flute section. They were extremely mean to my section leader (Flutes), but she deserved it a bit. She is the kind to keep telling you your wrong, constantly. They were just really rude and always thought they were right, when most of the time they weren't. The problem was mostly the second chair clarinet, who is a senior. The first chair didn't do anything about it because he has a crush on her (ironicly I have a crush on him). It has gotten better after we stopped doing the field show though.
