The name says it all. There's an online MMo Digimon game, and it's beta starts later today. After it's weekly maintenance gets done at about 7PM, PST, to be precise.
It is free to play, though there will surely be things to buy in a cash shop to give you an edge. (100% capture rate on Digimon, or extra battle items, namely.)
Graphics appear on level with Diablo 2, maybe. Though much more bright and colorful. It is predominantly set in the third season's demesnes, with the Tamers. (Takato, Rika, Henry and Jeri)
There's two events starting once the servers open. One, is get as many Starter digimon to Mega level by the end of the contest, in about three weeks. (Mega happens at level 41, I believe. One user guide I looked through showed a system to speed through the leveling and hit mega in less than a day, so ti doesn't appear too difficult.) The other is simply logging in once a day until then. As well, if you register and log in before the beta is released, you'll get a free Frontier Pack. (No clue what's in it, likely a few extra things that would give some help.)
