I wear Lolita for myself and I do feel more confident when I wear it but I think that is because I feel comfortable wearing it.
They say you feel your most confident when you are the most comfortable with yourself and what you wear.
So wear what makes you comfortable at the time, if it is loli skirt without a petti with a cute t-shirt, go for it or if it is OTT sweet, no one will stop you.

If you're the type of girl who blushes whenever someone tries to speak to her, like me, then it would be a great confidence-builder.
I would really need courage to do it.
if they stare at me, i might forever blush xD or just make fun of them, but i don't mind them saying things about me, after all, it's my style.

When I wear Lolita I feel like a total princess heart Since I don't talk to people very much(or well) I don't want them to get the impression I'm a boring person, so I dress in a way that shows people who I am. If a boy talks to me, it gives him a heads-up he's talking to a Lolita princess and not another ordinary girl. wink
