Well, let's see what 15 minutes did for me XD So, I went for the elven cleric look. Selesnya is Green/White, and focuses both colors very well. Everyone in Selesnya lives to better the rest of their guild. Green, color of Nature and Growth, hence all the green ,the tree. White, the color of law, order, life gain. So, obviously, I was heading cleric here. Ialso noticed back when I played Ravnica sets that elves made up a good majority of Selesnya. So, yeah, there's the explanation to that thing up there XD

Here is Golgari: I think this one is fairly basic XD I thought Gorgon, then this happened. And the Scythe..Well, I thought, death+plants...Huh, kinda like a Harvest XD Ergo, scythe. Boros: The flag is to symbolize flag-bearing~ In the flavor text of the card "Rally the Righteous" (which I have in front of me =D) it talks about a man picking up the standard and continuing forward, rallying the other troops to start battle again, faith renewed. I really wanted to get that flavor in here. Azorius: Just your average old pontificating, holier-than-thou Azorius Vedalken ^^ Gruul: This one isn't too wonderful...It's hard to do Gruul on here XD Ok, I also wanted to give Rakdos, Orzhov, Dimir, Izzet, and Simic a go: Rakdos Orzhov: I thought "Holy Man, money, okay." Orzhov really isn't my thing ^^; Dimir: I went for the more magical/supernatural aspect of the guild. Izzet: Went for the Wizard aspect, obviously, but I really wanted to stick to the blue mage, and minor in red. I alost did the opposite, as red is more natural for me, but blue is more appropriate. Simic: So, when I thought of Simic, I immediately thought of Coiling Oracle. Awesome card, and the flavor is good~ I then wanted it to be green...hmm...well, what better way than coloring it green? It needed to have flowing hair, symbolize something mystical...I needed blue...Perfect :3 I then knew I needed a reptile of some sorts. Time to pull in a favorite: Green Corallus Egg's snake. Needed blue eyes, liked that pair. Wanted t ocover her up a little, threw in some vines. Sweet~

And here is a really amusing version of the Azorius one. I thought adding the Bahn Hammur and giving it a crazed version of the rage-face would be funny XD

When Darkness comes...Well...uhm...thank you ^^;
And hey, yours was awesome. A little cluttered, but you really got a good grasp on the animals and unity thing. A good tip for tekteking: Don't get overwhelmed by all the possibilities and start cluttering. Find a focus, drill it hard, and nail it home. If I can dig up my first(extremely horrible) tektek I'll show you, and you will realize, yours was great, especially compared to my first xD ...I'll Light The Night With Stars!
