God damn I'm lame, but nonetheless, lets do this, I see no Christmas thread.
Who did what, with who, and the like. Who had crap christmases, average ones, or just downright shithouse ones? I'm both intrigued, nosy and bored. . . although tis a little hard to be "both" of three things.
As for me, well, I rocked on home around 2:30am, got to bed around 3am, and after about 5 hours sleep, got back up and opened up ze presents, which was a more than respectable hoard including Sonic Rush (for the Nintendo DS), 2 Disney DVDs (Mulan and Tarzan, admittedly not Lion King and Aladdin, but by no means bad), an Evangelion DVD, some shirts (including a pretty damn shibby Napolean Dynamite one), a cap (two if you count the one my uncle gave me as well, more on that later), a messenger bag from paulkidby.com that is still being shipped (a Ankh Morpork Post Office bag FTW) . . . probably more but I think you all get the point, somehow I managed to end up with plenty of things that me is happy with.
A little while later, including a two hour car trip listening to a book on CD, me and my family have arrived in Suffolk Hills, in Byron Bay, for the family gathering. Which was just sitting around chatting to relatives for a few hours, with some good food, coffee and a little more present giving thrown in, as well as some really dodgy attempts to send SMSs to people, so if you didn't get one from me, its because when I was thinking of doing it I had no signal (I think only Takase and Jane got SMSs in the end).
Then another two hours in the car to return here.
Oh, I was meant to say more about the two caps, but bleh xp

ahem SHOPPING TRIP TO MELBOURNE!!
no s**t, that's mah present from mah oldies 3nodding along with a gold and pearly bracelet, saveage gardens greastest hits (something mah sister bought for me which she wanted xp ) a fondue set, chocolates, manicure set, hair straightner and dangly gold and green earrings and plain dangley earrings 3nodding
edit: oh it's not a present thready thing!! xp cbf writing what i did, lets just say normal fijian doage, was awesome!! xd

I was going to do this but figured I was late, and then saw Adam did it. xd
I still don't know what I get from parents.
From people at school, just some chocolate, jewellery, flowers, and stuff.
From family friends, chocolate or gift cards or boring stuff.
All I want this Christmas is one person. Isn't that one big cliche?

What a lousy Christmas I had. stressed gonk Stayed at home the whole day, had to work 4 hours in my parent's nursing home, didn't go out at all, didn't get any presents, either from my parents, relatives, or friends. crying Also, I didn't have enough money to buy any decent presents for myself until today, so technically I'm buying after Christmas presents. sweatdrop

Be prepared for DETAILS!!!
Hmmn. My Christmas Eve was heaps better than the actual day. I had dinner with parents, siblings and Jem and his mum - because my sister wasn't gonna be there on christmas and stuff. But anyway, that was good... Except when my brother arrived I screamed out of shock and horror. He cut his hair... His hair that has been longer than mine since he was at least 14... now he's 27. It was like the loss of a family member. . I started drinking rather early, which made the evening entertaining... Then after dinner Jem and I went down to Paddies (irish pup where we hang out alot) to meet up with friends. Now THAT was fun. I was quite drunk, so everything was just hilarious and I hugged everyone about a million times. Anyhoo. Got home around 2, had some sketti on toast and went to bed at around 3, only to get up at 6 because I was feeling terrible and had to sit up for a while. I watched some priest on TV and he had a funny guy in the corner doing sign language. Went back to bed at 7 and woke up again around 10. Then Celena and Tyson (that's my siblings) came over for breakfast, which was pancakes and everything spectacular. Present opening then proceeded. My loot included:
Lovely necklace and earrings from Jem heart
Necklace, Body Shop stuff and chocolates from mum and dad
Copious amounts of alcohol from Celena
Moneys from other people
Misc other crap
So yeah, it wasn't very lootiful, but was good none the less.
OMG I gave my dogs 12 tennis balls. I wrapped them up and put dog biscuits under the wrapping paper so they'd open it themselves. It was so CUTE! Roxy clawed at the wrapping until it was all open. They loved their present so much. Roxy went around and picked up each one until she found the best one, then took it away and chewed on it, as she does. She's a connoisseur of tennis balls, quite obviously.
Anyway, Christmas night we went to my aunties for dinner, and that was boring except me and Jem played pool for ages, so that was good.

I really can't remember what I got, and I'm still expecting a thing or two. >_>
From my Dad I got a CD; The Mars Volta: Scab Datesm and my Melbourne Big Day Out Ticket.
Grandma gave me a Camelpak type thinger, $150 Cash for my trip to Melbourne and a nougat pudding.
Uncle gave me a $50 Dymocks voucher also for Melways trip.
Mum gave me beers, chockies, a shirt and a calendar I can't quite remember anything more.
EDIT: And most importantly, Mel came down to visit boxing day and is still here, for at least the week anyway. Best present evar. 3nodding

StreekG celebrated his Christmas on Christmas Eve because he is hungarian, all hungarians do it a day earlier, yay for tradition i suppose, but that also meant that my Sunday was incredibly boring...
