I hate it when people completely disregard my advocacy against ***** just because I like cute frilly dresses. I know people don't understand that it's not about Lolicon or Lolita the book or fetish-fuel. It's just hard to make an argument like that when you basically want to dress up like a little girl.

After all, even if it's not about anything sexual, ***** don't need the little girl to be a prostitot to find it hot.

I shouldn't have to defend myself to validate my morals like that.

Usually when I try to, they just say something like "Well aren't you just encouraging it, dressing like a little girl? It's like you're trying to make people attracted to kids!"

I think children are cute and you should love them like you'd love your pets or something. And not be attracted to them and want to do stuff to them.

The land is united at last....No, the land was always as one....

Unfortunately anything that has to do with Lolita is seen as a form of ***** and sex due to media, there's not much we can do. And those that don't even care to believe you are too closed-minded to ever think differently anyways. They're really not worth your time.
It was man who has been divided....

I couldnt find a date in lolita if my life depended on it.

If I wanted to attract men, I'd wear next to nothing and let my gstring hangout, not my bloomers. XD

lawl. where are you located, cause someone as pretty as you could wear a floor length cardboard box and get a date.

also, I'm finding that there are LOT of guys around here who like lolita....to, er... different degrees. Some find it interesting, others think it's beautiful... some like my fiance think it's really really sexy... despite being covered from the neck down... and then you have the perverts...

man, right back to the point...

But you know, there are perverts for everything! Especially things that are hard to get, like modesty, since modesty usually = not easy. Even if you dressed like an "adult", there would still be some sleezy guy at the club trying to grab you. Sure, he's not a pedi, but still just as much of a no good db.

There will always be some creepo who reeeeeally likes what you do or wear, no matter what it is. Anyone who thinks you're asking for that kind of attention is, as Kongming Shu-de said, closed-minded.

Unfortunately the worldview is skewed.

And we can do LITERALLY. NOTHING. to change that.

But I carry around business cards with points akin to the Princess Code on them
and hand those out to people who approach me.

And the url of my portfolio web site is on the back lol shameless self-promotion.

Boys yes. Girls no. So far I have YET to find a hot butch lesbian who likes lolita and is willing to dress in kodona or prince style for me. My girlfriend tolerates lolita because she knows I like it, but she'd never dress up with me.

And I live in Washington, DC. We have a VERY small alternative collective here. It's mostly politicians and business and s**t. -_-

But you can also think of it like this, people have foot fetishes. That's not stopping people from wearing sandals, sexy boots, or hot stilettos. So why should someone with a loli fetish ruin my right to wear a frilly dress.

awww poor hunny. For me, it was no issue - my girlfriend likes loli as much as i do... But then, we don't have a super butch/fem thing going. We both have loli, and we both have outfits that co-ordinate (not kodona/dandy, but they work well together).

And now, on topic. xD

Honestly if they say "Well aren't you just encouraging it, dressing like a little girl? It's like you're trying to make people attracted to kids!" my response would be "are you trying to make people attracted to puppies when you walk your dog?" Because really, as long as your not going out doing provocative things in your lolita, it shouldn't be an issue. And people who like little girls are gonna like little girls even if Lolita didn't exist, and not wearing lolita is going to change that. I mean, i can see the reasoning. Sort of. There is -always- the issue of ***** when wearing loli, especially sweet loli.
