Amber purred happily when she saw Lavi's pride in the two young boys. As her Father got closer she moved one wing to show him the sleeping form of Cody that was cuddled up to her stomach. "Aren't they beautiful...?" Looks up at Lavi, smiling warmly reaching a paw toward him. "Lavi is a wonderful lion. The way he protected his family shows it."
Aridai tilted his head, not really understandimg a word save for metal, weak legs, and Grandpa. When his Grandpa padded closer he rushed in to nuzzle him lovingly, purring as he worked his way up under Tyler's shirt, his little head peeping out the top by Tyler's neck.
Tyler bowed his head to Lavi before moving back to his hind legs, his wings flapping lightly to support his weight. "Thank you for protecting my daughter...and your two wonderful babies...I'm so happy I've lived long enough to see grandcubs..." His blue eyes grew a little wet as sheer joy rushed through him. "Welcome to the family. You are all welcome to the family den anytime..." He then got back down and nuzzled his daughter happily. "Oh my!" A laugh escaped him as the Aridai crawled up under his shirt. When his head appeared next to his own he nuzzled it.

Lavi watched quietly on his haunches as Ari played with his grandpa. Cody seemed to be disinterested and stayed near his mother, appearing to sleep. Lavi took a moment to really look at Tyler. He really did appear smaller and frailer than a normal lion. And the leg braces made Lavi wonder. He was more surprised than anything that Tyler could breed at all much less have Amber as his daughter. But he could not deny the similarities in scent. Now he wondered at Amber's mother because it became clear her father was not where her tail came from. For all his faults, Tyler appeared to have a normal tail. But he knew he wouldn't ask. He had no business knowing, he knew, and she knew, he would leave her once the boys were full grown. Or at least he thought she knew. He hoped she didn't expect anything more. "Oh don't call me wonderful. It what any father would do. We don't turn the protective urge on and off. It's just there. Ask your father."

Deep in her heart she knew Lavi had no intention of staying once the boys reached adulthood, but for now she ignored it, hoping the nagging pain would dissapear. For a long moment she remained focused on the new arrival and the babies, but when she did look up she noticed Lavi looking at her and her Father. Her bushy tail swished when he looked at it. "I got my markings, tail, and my green eye from my Mother...Having different colored eyes is odd but I love it..." She kept from mentioning where her Mother was, focusing on the babies again.
Aridai slipped out of his Grandpa's shirt, curling up next to his brother as he drifted off to sleep with him, content that he'd fully examined the newcomer...for now.
Tyler nuzzled his daughter's cheek when her voice trailed off, then he forced himself back up and moved out of Amber's direct ear-shot before speaking. "My first mate, her Mother Ozzie is no longer with us. Ozzie had the tail Amber does and was colored much darker than I. She never got to meet Ozzie because she left me with her and took my son. I don't know what's happened to him, but Ozzie had family. I have a new mate named Naira and with her came Amber's two sisters. So..." Nods, frowning softly, but the smile returned quickly though it had a hint of sadness to it. He'd loved Ozzie dearly and to know she'd died hurt both of them. "But anyway, I hope that one day you can meet the rest of the family..." With that said he moved back over to his daughter, rubbing her fore-leg. "I see Aridai got a cloth on his arm. That seems to be a tradition now." Chuckles to himself.

"I'm surprised to learn I mated into a large family. Amber never mentioned it. But I assumed she had parents of course. I don't remember mine. Me and my brother Suda grew together and did whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. I haven't seen him in quite some time though." He shrugged to show it didn't matter either way. He and Suda had left each other on good terms understanding that they wanted to live different lives. There was no love lost. "I would however like to meet your mate and your other daughters. I suppose I am part of you the line now. I do however hope you are not angry with me. I did, if you'll excuse the expression, steal your princess from under your feet." He grinned roguishly, chuckled and winked at Amber. "I hope you'll forgive me."

~Time Skip~ With Amber and Tyler off by themselves to spend Father Daughter time together the young boys found themselves home with Dad. Aridai had occupied himself with his Dad's tail as a new lioness approached the den, a pink cloth around her shoulders almost like a shirt of sorts. The way she padded closer, the smile upon her maw exuded pure innocence and curiousity. A spirit that had yet to see heavy pain emotionally or physically. So while Aridai sat behind his Father he felt no nervousness, simply watching her curiously.The moment she'd seen her sister come home and heard of the family she'd made, Becca knew she had to visit this male. Due to the pain Amber had faced in the past Becca found the thought of finding a sweet male right away seemed off to her. Though seeing if her new mate was indeed kind held presidence, her intention was also to meet the new young ones, to greet them herself. As she grew closer she made out three shapes in the den, quickly noting one boy behind the big male.

Cody eyed the female from behind his fathers paw. She seemed interesting enough but dad was warmer. He yawned and snuggled into his father.
Lavi growled lightly as a warning to her not to get too close just yet. "If would do well for you not to just walk into places without announcing yourself. I've had quite enough of that from you father. And since I really don't wish to scare anymore of Amber's family, I'm warning you." Lavi sat up and reached over to nudge the bravest of his two sons. "Go say hello to your Aunt. She came to meet you." She grinned down as his son then turned his attention back to her. "Be nice. My sons are my pride and joy. And yes I do know who you are. You smell to much like your family for you to not be Amber's sister."

With a polite bow Becca sat down outside the cave near the edge, but far enough to make the male happy. "A wise male...though Father does tend to run right into situations..." A soft purr left her as she watched one of the little ones get close to her. With eyes sparkling she reached down to nuzzle his head gently, lovingly as if she'd met him before. "Hello young one...What might your name be...?"
Aridai felt his Dad nudge him, moving closer to her. "Aunt..? Really Daddy?" A bright smile spread across his maw as he rushed forward, nuzzling up against her warm belly. "I'm Aridai! What's your name Aunt?" He looked up at her with big brown eyes before cuddling up close, his nose under one of her legs. "Oooo...so warm!"
