Well cats and dogs shouldn't really be eating your food. It can be really harmful to them. But I guess cats and dogs do have clean mouths, so it wouldn't technically be unhealthy. I would find it gross though.
That really depends on the food. Most natural people foods are fine for dogs. Apples, bananas, and carrots are all great for a dog's health. It's only specific food, as well as complex things (like you can give them a peice of your meat, so long as it's not really heavily seasoned.)
