Aleu moved close to Tempest, giving her a reassuring smile and a soft nuzzle from her nose. "Everything is going to be okay." She told her sister, and deep down she hoped that was true. Pushing any doubts aside she focused on the task at hand, and that was helping her sister to safety. "Come on." Aleu stood by her sister, willing to support her if needed for the journey to the den. Her mind was so concentrated on this task that she barely noticed the rain and thunder, and for once in her life she did not hum or sing. Now was not the time for such happy things.

Tempest was not a fighter, but at this point didn't want to be away from the one parent she had been around this entire time. Her Father, her Guardian, her Protector. He was there when she needed him wo she had a sudden need to be there for him. "Aleu, can't you see he needs me!" Tempest was almost in angry tears, she began towards her Father, in delirious stupidity, not seeming about to listen to logic. She was just tired, scared and needed a good cuddling from her parents and to be in a warm den where the illness could leave her head.

"Easy, Mene-Pup, easy now . . ." Spirits, he looked ready to pass out! It would be a lie to say that Merrill wasn't curious as to where on Telk the alpha and Tempest had been all this time, not to mention question why Raiden had showed up before they did alone, but in the rain was not a place to do it. Yet even as she and Chivosi began to aide him over, a scent came to her - a watered down, almost invisible smell, that immediately brought back the image of a certain, eager green wolf split seconds before Menelaus growled the boy's name.
Oh spirits, not him! And yet there Pekko was, flat on the ground in submission, fur plastered in odd ends by the wind and rain, looking quite frightened. "Si," she muttered to the alpha, "can you handle Mene-Pup for me? I'll take Pekko to a separate den away from him."

Chiv's hair bristled slightly as Mene got so defensive, she understood hy of course and slipped her own snarl towards Pekko - more of a warning to keep his distance then anything else before nodding to Merrill before turning her attention to Mene, telling him quietly but sharply "Settle down...do not think so little of me that I would allow him the chance of taking advantage of you" She chastised her mate, she wasn't angry with him - but he didn't seem to be thinking properly and the firm paw of someone he trusted might settle him somewhat.
Her gaze caught the small form of Tempest as she struggled to go to her father, sighing slightly she considered asking Merrill to take Tempest as well knowing the purple beta could carry her and Pekko would not dare disobey his blue and purple prize. But Mene would likely pitch a fit at letting Pekko near their pup in his current condition. "Just walk beside her Aleu, let her follow hi to the dens." And nudging Mene she tried to get him moving, allowing him to lean on her as needed.

Menelaus lowered his head in submission to his knowing mate. Her words stung harshly, but were needed, he felt the rage slowly leave and with it's last remnants so did his energy. He was fried to no end, an almost lifeless body, his eye's lost their flare and joints cracked slightly at the mention of moving forward, he wasn't to pleased himself and had become an emotional wreck in the progress of it all. He stopped now and pondered, where was Raiden. His little unfortunate adventure had begun as a sort of educational exploration and turned into a pup-napping disguised as a pup stupidly running off. He worried night and day for his little lost one and now gazed to Chivosi. He had forgotten briefly through his physical pain, but remembered the news he had to bring to his Mate. The Mother of his pups, he had to tell her the story of how he'd lost one of them.
He heaved a deep sigh, tears welling up in his eye's as he gazed at her. He was purely in pain now, physically and emotionally. He was a complete and utter mess. His fur was matted in different ways, matching the wind patterns and he had that sickly sweet scent of him of illness, he was unwell, underfed, and unfit to do much more then lay about. He fought for words, but couldn't find any. His head lowers and he growls softly.
Pekko, in complete and utter shock at the sudden events made no refusal at being taken away by anyONE, let alone his beautiful 'mate-to-be' [so he called her in secret]. "Co-coming Meme." He was on all four paws before anyone could mutter another word of anything and was even a bit ahead of the purple female he cherished.
Tempest had her Father's fury, but her Mothers logic, she settled after some mumbles of comforting words from her sister and went with her regrettably, but went.

Aleu gave her sister a reassuring nudge as they walked along. She didn't know what all had happened to her or her father to make them act like they were. But she was determined to find out eventually. Of course she would not pester them about such things now, right now she could see that they needed rest and to get better. So she walked in silence, no humming or singing, with her sister, father and mother towards the nearby dens. She was worried but knew they would pull through, because they had to.

Tipping her head slightly as she senses that Mene had something to tell her Chiv huffed softly and gave him a small nudge. "The news can wait and the others are waiting. Let's get you warm and dry and then we can talk - if you'd like" She told her grey mate before getting him moving again.
The trip back to the dens promised to be a slow one, while Chiv was anxious to get both Mene and Tempest out of the rain she had to balance that with their current condition and was aware that rushing them would probably do more harm then good at this point.

Menelaus nodded quaintly to his mate, he knew his current state would only be more dreary with the news he now had weighing him down. He was happy for the rain because he could feel his eye's water at the thought. He beautiful boy, lost to the adventures. Fate had a funny way of torturing someone, he'd thought this very often.
With those thoughts fading he got up with his left over strength and with Chivosi's guide and help he was able to get to a den. He could smell that a terrified Pekko and Meme weren't far off. He hoped she wasn't beating into him to hard.
