Nameless couldn't believe it, Agony stood up to that scary Rowan and protected him. Any of his other siblings, or herd mates for that matter would have done no such thing. It was a comforting thought to know that Agony cared for him, even if she could only show it when they were hidden away like this. "B-but he could have killed you." Nameless stumbled over his words. And if Rowan killed Agony then there would be no one here to protect him should Rowan come back. Well unless mother happened to wander in at the right time, she did have a knack for doing just that.
The suggestion to run and keep running made Nameless' eyes go wide with fear. "Oh, oh no! We can't run Agony. Rowan w-will hurt me- us, if we do." Not only was Nameless afraid of Rowan hurting him, he was a bit weak compared to his sisters having to fight for his food so running was not exactly high on his things he wanted to do. "I-I'm not a fast runner."

Agony had thought about wandering further away from Rowan and it entertained her to the idea of him searching for her and Brother for a couple more hours. A sinister crackle escaped from her vocals, as she knew that her Father would be angry at Rowan for not bringing his daughter back. But it dawned on Agony that Nameless was very frightened of getting into trouble. She didn’t want her brother to get into any more trouble and surely didn’t want to see Rowan causing any harm onto the small colt. She nodded her head to Nameless’s requests of not running further away.
“Let me just show you something,” Agony nudged her brother gently against his cheekbone before walking away in the near distance. She led him towards a shallow stream that ran deep inside the forest. The flow of the stream was gentle as not to carry the foals away. Agony stepped inside the water that was quite cool to the touch and even more refreshing to drink.
She nudged her head down to the surface while keeping her crimson eyes on Nameless. “Look,” she whispered softly to him.
She then reared back with her forelegs kicking the air as she splashed about. Water began to spray on the bank and even on her brother as she playfully kicked in all directions. Laughter filled her vocals again as she splashed Nameless.
“Come play with me, Brother! Come play!” she chanted with a bright, cheerful smile on her lips. It felt good to feel and be normal away from the other herd members.

He walked quietly with Agony, not sure whether to run away or not. He did truly enjoy spending this time with her, but he feared that doing so would only anger their father. And when Thanos got angry, well he generally took it out on Nameless, no matter what the reason for his anger was. His fears slowly started to melt away as Agony splashed within the stream.
A tiny smile crossed his maw. That looked like a lot of fun. Moving to the stream he stamped his hoof in it, sending water flying up. His smile grew and he jumped into the stream, kicking the water up in every direction. "Fun!" He exclaimed, though kept his voice a bit quite for fear that Rowan or Thanos would overhear them and come running in.

Laughter filled Agony’s vocals as she trotted in the shallow stream where the two foals played. Never before had she laughed so much to where her cheekbones were aching. The little filly couldn’t stop smiling as she splashed her brother by kicking at the water with her hooves. She leaped up into the air and stomp her hooves into the water to create even big splashes. Agony grimaced as the two shared the enjoyable moment together but an odd itching feeling at the back of her head told her that this moment wouldn’t last long. Her eyes quickly glanced to where she knew Rowan was probably standing. He was probably angry with her for how she had acted and Agony wasn’t sure where that bravery came from. Never before had she stood up and spoke her mind. She would usually cower away and agree to what the other party told her. Agony glanced to Nameless as he too splashed in the water. Maybe she had spoken up against Rowan for her Brother because she wanted to play with him. Agony wasn’t too sure and figuring out the answer was causing her a headache.
She breathed deeply as she climbed her away out onto the grassy bank. Her body collapsed onto the ground as she lay with her lungs working the hardest they ever did. Soft giggles escaped from her vocals as she looked at Brother. “That was fun,” she said with a bright smile. She closed her eyes and rested for a brief moment but was awakened and startled at a distant sound. It was a noise she never heard before and sounded like a chime ringing in the distance. Her ears perched forwards as she glanced over her shoulder.
Agony stood up with her head stretched out towards the direction. The young foal took small steps to follow the sound and was completely oblivious to what was happening around her. The skies had darkened and small droplets of rain began to fall from the gray storm clouds. There was a light sound of thunder echoing in the distance and the breeze had turned into a gush of wind.
Leaves and branches began to scurry around Agony as she walked further and further away from Nameless and the listening Rowan.

Nameless had never had so much fun in his life. Most of the time he spent hiding from his father and his siblings and the other herd members. But today he felt free and welcomed, even if it was just with his sister. She had stood up to Rowan for him and for that he would be indebted to her for quite some time. All thought of how frightening his life was seemed to melt away as they splashed and had fun. In fact he was so busy having fun that he didn't even notice when Agony walked off.
When his eyes did fall to the spot where she had been and he didn't see her there Nameless started to panic. His body shook uncontrollably with fear, tail tucked between his legs. She had abandoned him! The rumble of the approaching storm was the end for him. "Agony!" He yelled but instead of looking for her, Nameless ran off the way they had came, towards were he knew his mother would be, for she would comfort him in this time of need. He barely even noticed Rowan as he ran as fast as his little legs could carry him.
Rowan was in the process of going after the two foals - well one of them at least when he heard Nameless' scream. Seconds later the little black foal came rushing but and Rowan could only watch in awe at how fast he was. Something must have happened to scare him off and he doubted it was the storm. Sure the little foal was very jumpy but he had seen storms before.
A sudden and odd fear ran through the stallion. What if Agony got hurt? Thanos would have his hide if one of his precious daughters got injured. So he set off at as quick as pace he could within the dense trees looking for the little filly." Agony!" He called out, his voice for once not commanding but more soft hoping it would draw her out. "Where are you?"

Agony’s ears swiveled and flattened against her head as she drew more and more out of the woodlands. The trees now becoming sparser and Rowan’s voice more distance. There was something that intrigued the young filly and made her drawn away from the forest shadows though Agony was uncertain as to what it could be. She quickly glanced over her shoulder to see if Rowan was near but she couldn’t see him anywhere though heard his voice in the breeze. Stepping out of the boundaries of the herd wasn’t a smart thing to do but then again who would care? Agony snorted and shook her head. She advanced forwards by pushing aside a couple low branches with her head. At first Agony felt as though the sunlight had blinded her. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and allowed the warmth of the light heat her body. It was an odd tingly feeling that made her limbs shiver. She blinked open her eyes to see a vast field that seemed as though it went on for miles. The grass blades swaying in the wind that had long ago died down some and some wildflowers that grew in scattered bunches. Agony lowered her head to the soft petals of a flower that grew just at her fore hooves. The fragrance filled her nostrils as she breathed in heavily. Agony felt as though she found her sanctuary. The strong breeze now settle and soft danced throughout the field and with her mane and tail as she stepped forwards. The warmth of the sun guiding her out of the shadows and the compelling scent of the wildflowers luring her out.
Agony giggled and playfully kicked out her hind legs. She neighed happily as she trotted in a circle around some blooming buttercups. She wanted to share this sanctuary with another. Someone who would appreciate the warmth and happiness the field gave. The young filly paused and knew exactly whom to bring here.
She twirled around and laughed softly. She was about to return to her homelands when she had noticed that someone was watching her. Agony’s ears lowered a bit and her limbs stiffened as she noticed a bay more watching her from a distance. Why hadn’t Agony recognized her before? Clearly that mare wasn’t there when Agony first entered upon the field because she would’ve without a doubt recognized a brown horse standing on a small hill in the distance.
Agony was unsure of what to do and just exchanged looks with the mare.
