I was browsing through SMeyer´s website just for laughs when I came across this. What the wonderful author of the Twilight series wrote to her fans: Quote: I only hope this note will stop all the confusion and online speculation so that the Twilight universe can once again become the happy escape it used to be. Twilight Universe?!?! eek So there´s a whole universe now that contains what? Her books don´t even have enough content to fill some poor (main) characters with personality and to actually provide a plot. So what on earth are we supposed to think of when talking about the "Twilight Universe"? In my opinion this, after comparing SMeyer with J.K. Rowling and refering to the Twilight series as a "saga", is the last straw. gonk What do you guys think? What do you imagine a "Twilight Universe" to be like?

Personally, I'd rather take my chances with Dante than ever journey into the Twilight Zone Universe...

Evelyn Eastbrook A Twilight universe would be hell. A hell with all sorts of idiocies spawned from Meyer herself, with herself as its god.

Emperor Angelo XXV Evelyn Eastbrook A Twilight universe would be hell. A hell with all sorts of idiocies spawned from Meyer herself, with herself as its god.Wait, wait. If Meyer were to be god of this Twilightworld, then heaven, not hell, would be filled with Twilight characters, since Meyer apparently sees her sparkling vampire creations as the pinnacle of humanity. I wonder what hell would be in Meyer's Twilightworld? Probably, it would be the opposite of Twilight. Therefore, if I were trapped in Twilightworld, I would prefer to go to Twilightworld hell. However, there is a distinct possibility that Twilightworld is a form of hell itself, and not a true world... in which case, I would want to avoid hell all costs. /philosophical

It's not really the matter of content really; its just her own little world where everyone fulfills her wet dreams, and "vampires" sparkle.
