so...
yesterday i went to my campus bookstore and bought some books, snack, and a grape fanta. i brought it all back to my room and started to recline and such. some time went by and i decided to drink the fanta.
so i opened it...
and it sprayed all over the place...(i never shook it or anything)
and it got on my laptop...
at first, it didn't look too bad, it had just dotted the keys a bit, but after a minute, the screen went blank
it wouldn't turn back on
i was trying all day and some of the night to revive it but it was no use
so i called my computer tech friend and he said the motherboard might be fried...i almost cried
so i called home and told my mama the bad news and she said i would probably have to come home and apply for a loan to get a new one...
just as i thought it was hopeless, i tried to turn it on one more time a few minutes ago...
amazingly, it started up and now its working fine

traveling from the book store to your room would have shock it and it is possible the fanta had nothing to do with the problem and if fate hates you somebody else probably wouldn't be much help against it.
but good luck on the problem not recurring

I stopped drinking fizzy drinks around my computer after a similar incident stare xp

*big long and deep sigh* wow.. i would want my pc revived just like yours.. now im thinking on trade my soul or just do some forced work to get a laptop XDDD

Shandri Dundragoon *big long and deep sigh* wow.. i would want my pc revived just like yours.. now im thinking on trade my soul or just do some forced work to get a laptop XDDD yeah, i feel you on that one... i kinda had to do forced labor to get this one, but technically it was free so i'm definitely trying to keep it alive as long as i can... lord knows free laptops don't come around everyday

XemryXIII Shandri Dundragoon *big long and deep sigh* wow.. i would want my pc revived just like yours.. now im thinking on trade my soul or just do some forced work to get a laptop XDDD yeah, i feel you on that one... i kinda had to do forced labor to get this one, but technically it was free so i'm definitely trying to keep it alive as long as i can... lord knows free laptops don't come around everyday yeah.. i know.. *sigh* so.. i just hope to get a new one asap, if not i think ill die XD lol literally... all my college work and stuff needs something to move them around and im at the point where usb's are not enough anymore Xp
