There's a new girl in town, and she sticks out like a sore thumb, but not for the normal reasons. The town is comprised of a hidden community of werewolves, and she and her family are not. The alpha of the community had lured them in for a specific reason. A group of adolescents in the clan are coming of age, including the alpha's son, and the right of passage had always been a hunt. Not only is it a test of skill, but insurance of the survival of their kind. The teens must turn a human into a werewolf and add their blood to the gene pool.

The alpha's son never liked their traditions, and now that he was to be a part of it, he is more opposed. But how can he go against the clan and still try to keep this family safe? Scare them away. What he didn't count on was falling in love with their daughter.

Something is happening on earth. A great catastrophe is underway! Creature of myth are popping up all over the world. A group of friend were on a camping trip when a strange beast begins stalking them in the night. Frightened and panicked, they scurry into their tents or cars, but there is no escape. the beast attacks, mauling some to death and leaving a few alive. The survivors wake up to find that there is something different about them all. The wounds they had been dealt by the beast are already well into healing and they feel stronger. It scares them, but there is no longer any sign of the beast save for the remnants of their less fortunate friends.

The group leaves the forest to find their home town in flames. Something is very wrong, and they aim to find out what.

Once upon a time, there thrived a wolf pack. It lived peacefully in a valley that had the perfect climate and resources to sustain their numbers for as long as anyone could imaging. Prey was bountiful and the water was clean. The valley was cut off from the prying eyes of humans. It was a wolf pack's paradise.

But there was another pack from over the mountains that had heard of this paradise, and wanted it to themselves. They wages war of the clan and though the valley wolves fought hard, the intruders won, killing every other wolf in the valley until only their own pack remained. All but one.

This young cub, freshly weened and barely learning to hunt, somehow managed to stay hidden and was able to learn the rest of his skill to survive. He grew, and kept to the opposite side of the valley from the murdering interlopers, until one day, a young, female scout catches his trail and he is forced to confront the enemy's alpha's daughter.
